    Sometimes they play rap at my kickboxing gym... or soft pop... totally missing the demographic here, guys.

    Hate when my I-pod loses juice and I have to listen to their stuff....Wednesday they had a Pat Benetar Marathon!! (need a new pod that actually hols a charge)

    Working out w/hubs @ home: had a workout playlist amping thru the surround. ACDC, Rob Zombie...old school stuff, mostly. Picture his face when Air Supply's All Out of Love came on (total accident). I fell over laughing.

    I bet that was priceless.

    There were a couple young girls at my gym the other day. They were playing country romance songs thru the gym stereo in the weight room. One of them was singing along. I had to keep turning my music up because it was throwing me off beat on the treadmill. Then they would turn theirs up. I assumed they thought it was a good song, I know they couldn't hear mine over theirs. I felt like screaming "if you can sing, you ain't workin' hard enough".

    My gym actually plays alright music. It's mostly old school rock like AC/DC, Scorpions and all that, but it really varies. Yesterday I was suprised to hear them playing The Sounds! I love them. :)

    omg too funny, at the gym last week they must have had some flashback to the 80s CD on and they actually played "Strokin" by Clarence Carter and the Macarena......I had to look around and make sure i wasn't at a wedding :tongue:

    Mine just has TV on. Small town fitness center with a lot of old people on treadmills. It is usually on talk show or soap operas. Thank goodness for my iPod!

    You know, I've been going to Planet Fitness because it's so freaking cheap... But the playlists they've got going... They are just... Maybe in another life where I was an 8-year-old girl living in the 80's... but not today.

    "Song for the Lonely" by Cher. I can't lift to that. Running to that just makes me chuckle.
