I thought the majority of Americans weren't getting enough sleep. Sounds like most of us are.

I love how you Americans assume the world is made up of other Americans. :flowerforyou:

If I slept from the time I went to bed til my alarm went off in the morning it would be seven hours, unfortunately I'm usually awake a couple hours throughout the night. I would love to sleep through the night.

You guys are making me drool! I WISH I could sleep! I've been a chronic insomniac for the last 12 years, and have to take a cocktail of different meds (that need to be changed every so often because they lose effectiveness). Hence, I MAY sleep 5-7 hours most nights, but not continuously. I wake up often, toss and turn, and eventually doze off again, particularly about the time I have to get up....lol.

That's because it is. America, f#*k yeah!

Anyway, I get between 7-8 on weekdays and about 10-12 on weekends..
  • I'm lucky if i get 6-7 hours. Of lately, i've become an insomniac. I have a hard time falling asleep then when i do, i toss and turn all night. Though i have noticed that on days that i don't have to get up and go to work, i sleep much better.....

5-6 hours week nights, 7-8 hours weekends.

My hubby and son both have sleep issues, so that is not usually uninterrupted sleep. Some nights I may only have a couple of hours of real sleep.
