I think the best thing is to understand why the relationship went sour. Now keep in mind that doesn't necessarily equal blame for yourself or your ex. Then too sometimes there is no sane reason. Recognizing the latter is tough.0

What works for me: time + patience + casually dating (it makes you feel better going out on casual dates, plus, FREE dinner and flicks!) + hanging out with friends + absolutely not communicating with ex-boyfriend.0
