I'll take my lumps! I thought after I read banks post....wtf am I saying, I love white meat, don't get me wrong, but i'm wondering if it's for all the wrong reasons, because i've been conditioned to think it's better for me. When I read his post, I thought, wow, does it really have all that good stuff in it? And guess what....it does, and I now will include it in my diet, without skin...haha. I'm a big girl and can admit, I'm wrong  , I will next time be informed, do my research, before I stick my foot in my mouth!
So I've started to add some dark meat in the mix....now I feel not guilty about it as I too didn't realize how much healtheir in some ways it truly is and that isn't wasn't the 'bad' part of the chicken.

I am also a firm believer in avoiding ANY turds on a rainy day.
Now, I have a question - I would love to hear the pros and cons of removing the skin on the chicken before or after cooking. I always remove it before, but the breast often dries out. Especially now, since I am trying to use the George Foreman most of the time.0 -
I am looking for something to do with chicken drumsticks that will be relatively low in calories. I am thinking of taking the skin off and roasting them with some spices....any ideas or recipes anyone?
take the skin off and curry them ..yum yum but thats only if you like curry lol I do chicken and roasted veggies
Yum, curry...what kind of curry do you use? Powdered or paste? Roasted chicken legs and veggies with curry sound yummy!0 -

Always remove the skin after cooking if you're baking or roasting. It holds the juices in and makes for better tasting chicken. If you're grilling or barbequeing, you can go either way I find, I usually remove it beforehand then.0
