not really a game at all but i was curious about baby names. i've done this post before but i feel like doing it again.

so - if you have children, what did you name them?
if you don't have children yet but plan to in the future, what are some names you would consider for your children?

girl: eleanor or melody (middle name natalina)
boy: atticus or johnson (middle name giovanni)


sidenote: NO i am NOT pregnant. just curious.

My sons are Brayden Jack and William Robert

My name is Jaclyn so that's where Jack and Lynn come from. William is named after my father (William) and his father (Robert)

On a side note: It wasn't until my dad started calling William "Billy Bob" that I realized we had set him up for tons of teasing. Brayden's initials are probably going to cause the same problem :indifferent:

haha yeah names definitely have to be thought through over and over again before they're set in stone xD
but really there is no name on the earth that people can't find a way to mess with.

I always liked the name alabama for a girl but when I saw my daughter, somehow it just didnt fit so she is cassandra. My first daughter was supposed to be raven but she didnt look like a raven to me so she is karissa. Sometimes you have to see the baby first and then the name comes.

My dad wanted to name me crystal creamcheese but there was some disagreement in the hospital and so I have no middle name

that's exactly how my mom named us. she had names planned for my siblings. Giovanni turned to Anthony, Phyllis turned to Angela, Jill turned to Cassandra, and Gretchen (yuck) turned to Stephanie. I am SO glad i wasn't named Gretchen.

My grandparents wanted a baby boy so bad... instead they got 7 girls. All have names that are the female eqivalent to the male name:

George became Georgia (my mom) also named such because she was born George Washington's birthday.
Anthony became Antionette
Charles became Cheryl
Paul became Pauline
Dean became Nadine
Norman became Norma
Maxwell became Maxine.

Again, I kid you not.

that sounds like my uncle. in an italian family, every man just wants a son to pass on the name, and instead he got 6 girls before finally getting his son on the 7th try. and all of the girl's names end in an a. so in order (i think):
