Is Dietary Fiber the combined total of soluble and insoluble fiber? I tried a fiber supplement yesterday that was listed as 3g of soluble fiber and 3g of dietary fiber. I know the difference between soluble and insoluble fiber but what is dietary fiber or is it the same?

It's the same. It's like when fat is listed as
Fat 3 g
Monounsaturated fat 1g
It just means there's a total of 3g and one is from monounsaturated.
You got a total of 3 g of fiber, and all 3 were soluble.0
