I fell in love with Bento boxes

I found the ratio for Bento boxes as released by the Japanese govmt.
3 parts grains
1 part protein
2 parts vegetables
It should not include any junk food or have open spaces.

Here's the website :flowerforyou:
That's one of the site I heard it from...sorry I didn't copy it down right...I must have gotten mixed up with another site:blushing:0 -
Listed below are box content and calories for one Bento box I found that is really easy
Bento Contents:
6 oven baked chicken wings sections, 320 calories
1/2 cup yogurt and cheese dipping sauce, 140 calories
Oven baked sweet potato chips from 1 medium sweet potato, 200 calories
Carrot sticks, celery sticks, broccoli, 40 calories
Total calories (approx): 690 Note this is a ‘large’ portion.
Time needed: 15-20 minutes in the morning

I love bento boxes.
I have two boxes that are approximately 550ML capacity. In pictures they look pretty big but in real life most of the boxes are pretty small
Mostly I use my laptop lunch system -http://www.laptoplunches.com/
I've been bento-ing since I start my healthier living journey and I think its the main reason I'm doing so well. Its really makes me think about what I'm packing as there is only so much space.
Today in my laptop lunch I've packed
1 cup rice
1/2 sautee'd collards
3 oz japanese sesame beef
2 oz baby carrots
1 clementine.
1 tbsn dip
Its still a bit over 500 calaries but I'm trying to keep my meals around that for now.
I'd post a photo but not sure how to post one on here:)
