Y'know, my whole life, I thought I was ugly. I grew up hearing that I had "such a pretty face, but..." the comments on my body were terrible.

It took one of the most traumatic experiences of my life for me to look in the mirror, and realize, holy crap, I'm pretty. From that point onward, the self-love has been pretty strong... but then, I do this thing, when I start losing weight.... I sabotage myself.

I've lived through some ugly things... and when I lose weight and people start noticing me again, I freak out because I'm afraid that those traumatic experiences will happen again.... and so I eat because of the stress and fear, and end up heavier than i was before.

At my current weight, I've got confidence in spades... I know I have a pretty face. I know I have killer bewbehs and a great butt. I know I have a great brain, and that I'm a good person. My INNER self is strong, confident, beautiful... it's when my outer self gets that way that I become a shrinking violet.

I agree with most of the above... I too have found that as I get older, I feel more confident, happy and at ease with who I am, which makes me feel sexy and glow...
and this will increase as I shed the unwanted, recently added lbs.. :)
