Let's be COMPLETELY fair and say that most plans work. People fail. Lack of willpower, lack of commitment, and lifestyles that go against the premise of the plan all contribute to failure or lack of results. There are THOUSANDS of plans out there, and honestly, most work. Yes, some require higher levels of commitment than others, or more discipline, but let's not falsely attribute failure to plans in general.
Spoken so WELL!:drinker: Girl you are like that click that went off for me a couple years ago... I think it was in the stars that I found you here on this site to be an example to me to continue to keep on keeping on despite all the crap going on around me and I'm not talking simply about food choices here.

Thank you so much Michelle, simply for being here and being YOU:heart::heart::heart:

My grandmother and I tried the Atkins when I was a little younger and I HATED it. I'm not a big grapefruit person to begin with (LOL) and that is ALL that diet contains.

However, my mother went on the Carb diet about 4 years ago and lost 40 pounds by completely cutting carbs and walking for 20 minutes everynight.

    I envy her. :blushing:
You can do it too, making healthier choices each day, eating more heatlhy food each day then the unhealthy, starting a regular workout routine, even if it's a 5 minute walk is a start. Sometimes we complicate our lives by thinking to much. We want perfection and we want it now. But perfection doesn't exist besides wouldn't life be boring with no challenges to succeed with if we all were perfect? what a boring world we would live in...

I know I know, sounds corny maybe when we're having a tough day we want to be exactly where we want to be... but time is what gets us there... slow and steady will find us meeting our goals and continuing on as losing the weight is actually the easier part, it's learning to think differently about food about excercise about life in general and then we will keep off that extra weight we dropped and gain so many more benefits that are far better than food.:drinker:

Ask me how I know about the perfection part:blushing:

Aww FC that's what I like to hear! I'm not trying to be mean to people, and it always seems like I'm playing the devil's advocate, but truthfully, I don't mind it. There are plans that work for people and there are plans that don't work (as in, not conducive to their lifestyle) for others. It takes a lot of trial and error, but once it clicks (obviously it did for you!) it just becomes a way of life.

    WTG!
