I only walked out of a movie once when I was there with my parents. I was little (maybe like 8) and we were watching Frankenstein 3D. Except it ended up being sort of soft core porn. Out we went when a penis was coming at us in 3D.

I've walked out of 2 shows ...
~ 1 - The Supersuckers. Don't get me wrong, I ~love~ the supersuckers. This particular day was a long one, I had spent all day at a baseball game, drinking tons of beer, so I was pretty alcohol tired. We waited for hours until the supersuckers show started (i belive at the bluebird in denver). Although they are quite rockabilily, we started to notice a crapload more of cowboy boots on girls and chops on guys than normal. And then they came out and played "The Country Show" (They used to play either the rock show or the country show) and we were NOT down for a hungover, tired country show. So we left.
~ 2 - Godsmack. We went to see The Deftones open for godsmack at Red Rocks. When godmsack started playing, we determined we weren't fans.

Yup, concert was The Enid when they 'reformed', it turned out to be the singer (who was in his late 40's) and a bunch of teenagers. Slightly creepy, and cr*p.

Movie, Highlander 2 I would have walked out but the cinema was full & I was right in the middle of a row, Had to sit thu the whole damn movie cause I was too polite.:grumble:

I've walked out on lots of movies. I don't want to waste time if I hate something after the first 30 minutes. I don't remember most of them, but I do remember leaving "Wag the Dog", "Analyze This (or whatever the first one was)," and the movie where Alanis Morrisette is God.

The interesting thing is that I like movies that are so bad they are funny.I only hate a movie if it has zero entertainment value whatsoever. In my opinion, of course.

I've never walked out on a concert, mainly because I don't go to many. I don't think they are very fun, for the most part.

LOL @ the 3D penis coming at you!! But Godsmack sucks live. Saw them at Ozzfest when they first came out and the show was VERY boring.

I've only ever walked out of one movie, and one concert.

Movie was Blair Witch Project. Honestly, I got bored, and I knew how it ended, so I left.

Concert was Rod Stewart. Surprisingly, he was VERY boring in concert! We left about (what I'm assuming was) 2/3 of the way through the show.

Saw Mars Volta open for System of a Down. We went to see Mars Volta and decided to give System a go. As per usual--heavy band that sucks infinitely live.

I've never walked out of a movie, I won't go to one if I really think it could be that bad.

I've left a concert once, and it was not by my choice or control. I still regret it to this day and should have thrown a fit to stay. It was Ozzfest 2000 (?I believe). I was 15 and went with my uncle, all his friends/girlfriend. His girlfriend was 8 months pregnant and after sitting in the hot sun all day in 90 something degree weather, her jumping up and down frantically during Pantera, my first day of school that year was the next morning and we had a 3 hour drive back, AND since they'd all seen Ozzy already~we left early. As we were getting in the car I could hear Ozzy going on stage. :( My mom told me later I probably didn't miss much, but I would have liked to knock it off my bucket list.

I walked out on Godzilla with Matthew Broderick. That movie was too stupid to exist.

And I left a Jonathan Coulton show because I was so freaking tired that I couldn't enjoy it.

I went to see The Pallbearer at the dollar movie theater, and I don't think anyone was sad when the projector broke halfway through the movie.

We paid $45 each for lawn seats to see The Allman Brothers Band a couple years ago. Opening act was Phil Lesh, the bassist for The Grateful Dead. Phil Lesh apparently only has 5 songs, but each of them are like 20+ minutes. Phil Lesh played for 2.5 hours, at which time it had started to rain. We waited another half an hour; by then it was a downpour and lightning and we were completely soaked so we left, never having gotten to see The Allman Brothers Band

Walked out of G Love but it wasn't by choice. I went with some friends to see Ozomatli, Slighty Stoopid and G Love. They were ready to leave after SS played and they were my ride. I was pretty pissed since I was really there for G Love.

eta: I've never walked out of a movie but I have slept through them.

I've walked out of lots of movies, most recently "He's Just Not That Into You" and the last concert I walked out of was "The Flaming Lips." Go ahead, throw tomatoes. It was fun, but I was at a festival, and this little no-name band's show was starting and I decided I'd rather see them... so my BF and I left and we never regretted it.

    I haven't.

I've seen two films in my life that I KNOW I would have walked out of if I'd seen them in a cinema, but I only go to watch things I really want to see - I don't want to waste money seeing things I'm not 100% sure about, so I've never put myself in the position where I'd be in the cinema realising I was watching something rubbish, thankfully.

The two films I would have walked out of were The Forgotten and Despicable Me. Terrible movies, in my eyes.

No, but I came close. Years ago I saw New Order in Pittsburgh. They came onstage, turned on their computer-generated music, milled around, and left the stage. 45 minutes later, they returned. The lead singer, in this sneery, contemptuous voice, said, "We're just so happy to be here in beautiful Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania." We ALL should have gotten up and left. Jerks.

I walked out of Sophie's Choice...when the guards were making her chose one of her kids...I left because I couldn't bear the thought of it and still never saw it...I can't imagine picking one child over another to die. Too horrible. Don't tell me - I don't want to know which one if any she chose.

I am a concert nerd...i have been to sooo many and only ever walked out on one. The great Bob Dylan

I was so excited to see him, the man the legend. he was on my list of people to see in concert before it was too late. it was horrible beyond description. I could barely figure out what songs he was playing, he didnt engage the audience and it just was a hot mess.

the only saving grace was that the foo fighters opened up with their accustic set which is one of the best things I have seen, it was a little shorter than their set when they headlined an accustic tour but it was nice to relive parts of my fav concert.

This is why I have always hated Bob Dylan. Always have and always will. I don't LISTEN to music for what makes him "genius." He sucked live in my hometown too. Worked the venue he was playing. It was seriously the biggest joke I've ever seen.

I think I actually ran out of Gremlins....but I was like 10. Lol.

I wanted to walk out of Prince about 6 or 7 years ago, I think. I was crazy excited to see him and neglected to process that the tour was called the "jam tour" or something. 3 hours of jamming and maybe 5 songs were played. I stayed til the end and will never get that time back. :grumble:

Walked out of Death Cab for Cutie early after I heard my favorite song and my Bff heard her favorite song, but it was crazy crowded, I'm claustrophobid, and it was a weeknight. Would have stayed in an open area if I hadn't been so tired.

Had a friend that loves him and has seen him several times. She says it's a complete crap shoot as to whether he'll be good or not live. Lol.

We had to leave Bon Iver early :( We didn't get seats up top like we should have and ended up standing for the entire opening act. By the time Bon Iver came on, our feet were throbbing and we were surrounded by sweaty, greasy, drunk people and couldn't even see the stage. We tried in vain for an hour to find a comfortable spot where we could see, but we failed. Finally, we were pushed so far out of the room that we couldn't fit back in. The staff kept telling us we had to move every time we stopped somewhere to watch, so we finally left. The next time I see Bon Iver (and believe me, there will be a next time) I will get there even earlier and find a chair. Then I will never leave it.

I walked out of the first Madagascar movie. The movie we wanted to see had sold out and this was the only thing else playing. It's a cute movie, we just werent really in the mood to see a cartoon. It was a first date too.

And, i got forced by a friend to go see the band Red. A guy threw up on my shoes. Then i got too close to the pit and got punched square in the face by a dude. After the black eye, bloody nose, and liquid lunch on my shoes, I decided it was time to leave.
  • I walked out of Deer Hunter somewhere around the Russian Roulette scene. It was too much to take on a big screen.

Years later, I walked out of the movie 'Chicago'. Stupid movie. simply stupid.
