    Holly... I got it because I was born close to Christmas...

    It goes good with my First name which is Lauren so I guess i like it .

    Haha.. mine is Elaine also. I don't mind it. It's my Grandmother's name. And, I think it goes well with my first name.

    Mine is also Elaine... as well as my mom's middle name and my grandmother's middle name. Apparently we're a real creative bunch in my family.

    It was Lynn, so original parents, never really liked it. When I got married I changed it to my maiden name. I have such a sense of pride in my family that I didn't want to give it up, but I am traditional enough that I wanted the same last name as my husband, but I did not want a double or hyphenated last name. I love it now.

    i actually really like my middle name, its May. my full name is my great grandmothers, strangely my mam never knew this untill my Dad pointed it out after she decided! its also in respect to my grandmum Doris she died three years to the day before i was born so mays a family name. my Sons middle is Roy after my Dad who we lost when i was only ababy myself. X

    Mine is also Elaine. I do not like it. I am named after an aunt that I love (she has passed now though) but Elaine just sounds so prissy and I am not prissy at all!
