In the 80s, I wore skinny jeans and loved neon pink. And now... I'm doing it again. :blushing:0

Has anyone mentioned these babies?
And if you didn't have a pair of these, you just weren't cool.
Add one of these necklaces and you were just thuper cool.

ETA: were coolots popular anywhere else? They were insanely popular in my 4th and 5th grade year (2001-2002ish) It's like gauchos, but it's a jumpsuit. lol0 -
I also had a couple of windbreakers, I'm pretty sure they were called "Surfstyle" -- the colors changed according to the viewing angle. I can't find a picture. They were HAWT.0 -

I kid you not I saw a pair of stirrup (those under the foot strap pants) from Nike for workout at Modell's today, my 19 year old daughter did that "yuck" sound with her tongue out when she walked by them.0

Ohhhh man this is an awesome topic!
I was born in 1980, so as a child, my mom would sew my dresses with coordinating colors for my older sister! We had Carebear sweatshirts with puffed paint! Slap bracelets. My sister got to wear Keds and penny loafers but not me and my flat feet. Neon colors. Coolots (sp?). I had those silly spandex pants with stirups! I had big glasses with a mustard nasty colored button up shirt with a cat vest over it. hahahaha Stick on stones earrings or clip earrings. Puffy hair.0 -

My favorite outfit in high school was spandex pants and a giant express sweatshirt. I was 105 lbs, so it looked a bit different than it would today...
All my pants were painted on
