I have a little blender like this:

    I use it every day.

I like that it isn't too big, so my smoothies remain at a decent size. I'll bust out the big blender when I need a meal-replacement shake, or I'm headin out for most of the day.

    In no particular order:

    Blender for smoothies
Mandolin for cutting stuff - lately it's been sweet potatoes for chips.
Nice knives - no more cheap knives!
Parchment paper - cleanup is so easy when baking stuff (sweet potato chips, kale chips, etc)
My grill. I know it's not really a kitchen gadget, but I don't think I'd want to be without it. Seriously, I grill probably 4 nights a week and eat leftovers the other nights.

Kenwood Chef, it gets a pounding every week making bread and there are so many other things you can do with it.

I ordered mine online before Christmas from Amazon.com and got it for $75 (plus about $12 shipping)... still ended being less than what I see them going for in any store! Get one.. you will love it!

Love all the ideas! We just bought some new Wusthof knives.. I agree with "no more cheap knives"! Another recent purchase, which I have yet to use, is a rice cooker/steamer. Can't wait to try it! Oh, and yes, a corkscrew is a total must!
