Anything happening to my family, but right now gall bladder surgery I'm waiting for! X

Easier said then done, but try not to. It's usually able to be done with a laprascope(sp?) (opposed to larger incision), and is a day surgery. I went in first thing and was home by 2pm. Recovery wasn't too horrible. You have to make sure you don't lift or exert yourself for a few weeks, watch your diet, and keep the incisions clean.

I had mine removed a year ago this March. Although everyone's situation is unique, if you have any questions or worries about it, I'd be happy to try and help you with them.
