Hello Ladies! I am here. No surgery yet. I am still waiting for the "scheduler" to call. I am sure they will call and it will right smack dab in the middle of next week which is spring break and we will be at the beach. I will come home but would rather not. I am certainly not turning down their first available date for this!

Chipper-you shared your story about you and your husband. I must share mine too. We have been married for going on 7 years now. We have known eachother since we were probably 2 years old. If you had asked me when I was 15 if I was going to marry him I would have said heck no! But at 23 my aunt finally had her way and we went out on a date. We married a few years later.

Anyways, everyone have a wonderful day!

pdx.....gallbadder always puts a damper on things doesn't it? funny how things work in the world of love  . my mom paid for his divorce. he had been sending her money for the whole thing and she was spending it. we were CA she in ID. five days before the wedding we find this out and my mom loaned him the money and sent it to his aunt who went to the judge and explained and final 3 days before. close call. luckly a small town and everyone knows everyone.

went and did my errands. still need to get workout in. son just got word he got the trailer he was looking to rent and will be moving out his first day off in april. yea......i'll miss the company when DH is gone at night, but, won't miss it either. know what i mean? went to store and DH calls, son calls. now if i was at home they won't have called. but, when it was shop by myself time they call.

off to get into workout cloths and get on my treadmill today. son watching tv. won't miss that.

awwwwwwww how cute.... I just love looking at ultrasounds...

Missed you there this morning Chipper. I did my Bosu class this morning.. I thought she was going to kill us today.. It was hard.

Here is my husband story. My roommate in Florida had found out that her high school sweetheart had gotten a divorce so she go in touch with him and he lived in Maine. Anyways we all became friends and I used to get on the phone with him also and talk to him. Well my roommate and him thought that his roommate and me would get along so we started to talk. We started talking in Feb of 07 on the phone and in April he came all the way from maine to Florida to visit me and I actually moved with him to Maine and in May of 07 we got married and have been together ever since then. 12 years and 3 kids later.

Did I tell you gals that we aren't going to find out the sex of the baby until it's born! We decided that since it is the biggest surprise we could ever have, that we would be patient and wait! We also have our names picked out. It will be Aidan Jon or Kadence Elizabeth. I go back to the doc on April 2nd...and then we will set up my next ultrasound appointment! YAY!!! I can't wait!

Well..heading home for the evening! Talk to you ladies in the morning! Have a good night!!!

Kristin, NAMES!!! That is so exciting!! Thanks for sharing them - I kept mine locked in a vault until Leith was born :glasses: It is SO fun not knowing. Meeting Ava before we assigned a gender to the person we were seeing was the best thing ever. We specifically told our midwives not to announce the sex - we'd find out ourselves when we wanted to. We just cuddled her for a couple of minutes then got to the "boy or girl" business. Best decision we made

Sorry, not much time for personals right now - Mama's last day :frown: Have a great end of the week gals!

Kristin- love the names and kuddos for all of you who wait. I did it both ways. WIth Bryce I had no choice. My insurance would only pay for 1 ultrasound unless medically needed. I had one at 8 weeks so that was supposed to be it. Well 10 days before my due date the baby was breech. They did another one. By then I had waited that long. I ended up having a c section the very next day. With Owen I couldnt wait to find out! When we have our 3rd and last I think I will find out. I dont think I could wait!

Kristin- lovely pictures and names! YAY.

All the conversations sound like everyone is doing well.

Amy- whenever your surgery happens, I wish you a speedy recovery. Cute story about you and your husband.

Cathy- That was a close call. :) Hope you are doing great with your weight removal. How close are you to the 199 again?

Shanell- Are you hanging in there?

    Katie- How are you?

Lauryn- Are you peeping in on us? How are things? I have $20.05 in my jar now. I am going to paint it tonight!

Well hope all is well..... Take care ladies

Oh yeah... Pray that Tiff does well on her test. While she was studying at home today someone hit her parked car. She was so worried but needed to study.

Oh P.S. That is her in my profile picture if no one knew. She is to the left.

Cathy, I wanted to thank you for posting Jillian's comment about moving on from mistakes rather than turning them into something more. I was overcome with a bad urge today which I caved in to. But, inspired by your post, I just got back from a really good run by the ocean (400 cals in 25 minutes!). Thanks hon! :flowerforyou:

    Hi all!

Lauryn-thanks for sharing, that was hysterical

Chipper-what was that repair man thinking? that is ridiculous.

Tiff-how did that test go? I hope you get the details sorted out for your car.

Dr. Tamm-how are you? How go the videos?

Krisitn-love the names, thanks for sharing the photo, I love seeing ultrasound photos! I think it is great that you are waiting to find out. I so wanted to do that with our second, but my husband wouldn't hear of it.

To everyone else, have a great weekend!

Oh, by the way, I didn't get to the gym today, but I did bike to work. I love being close enough to bike to work. I am not sure the exact distance, but I estimate the bike ride to be about two miles each way. LOVE IT!

Katie, good for you for biking! I love biking (if my screen name hasn't given that away  )

    Tiff, how was the test??

Cathy, that's so annoying about the repair person! Yikes!

Kristin, have a great weekend my friend!

    Hi everyone else

So, I've done pretty well today considering how bummed I am. It's good. And I am still feeling so great from this new running habit I've got!

I'm waiting and waiting for my TOM right now and I'm starting to get really annoyed. I was sure that was happening a week or 2 ago because I was so moody and frustrated but nothing. Almost a month late now. I'm not super regular because it has only been just over 6 months since it came back after Leith's birth and my thyroid has messed with it many a time. But Kyle got a vasectomy in November (and he had his test in January to make sure there was nothing "getting through" which showed he's sterile) but I suddenly started thinking 'what if I was pregnant?'. Isn't that odd considering it's not supposed to be medically possible now? But all I needed to do was shake hands with Kyle to get preggers with both my kiddos (and one I lost before them - while using TWO kinds of protection!!) so I guess it's natural to worry that somehow it would be possible. Anyway, part of my motivation for these details (sorry if it's TMI!) is that Murphy's law would suggest I'd now see that darned TOM come around

On that note.... Have a great weekend!

Pedal I know how you feel. I felt the same when my hubby got his done. In fact I called the doctors office to make sure after they had done talked to him. I took over a year for me to regulate after getting off the pill. So everytime I was late I always prayed them tubed didn't find each other. But on the other hand we have a co-worker who wound up pregnant a couple yrs after her hubby's fix, so anythings possible. Good luck with it, I know how stressful it can be.

    Laters.

    Hi everyone!!

Sorry I have been absent, trying to get ready for this trip to Chicago and Boston that I leave for today! Actually heading to the airport in about an hour (takes about hour and a half to get to the bigger airport that's close). Thankfully today is just a short flight to Chicago.

I've been doing...ok....foodwise, very poor on the exercise end, I just haven't had the time and when I have, I've been to exhausted from writing papers and such that I just go to bed instead. boo. Plus I had a couple days this week where I was just LOW...my one friend said in the 7 months she's known me she's seen me crabby, but never like this, just really blue. it was weird, i'm never like that. but I think i've gotten some perspective and i'm doing better

THanks everyone for sharing your "how I met my husband" stories. Just goes to show that love works in mysterious ways!! On my end, went with the boy to a grill out last night with some classmates and it seemed like a date, like everything we do together seems like a date, but he just never acts like it is. Well, I take that back, he bought the food we took to the cook out and drove and made sure I was having a good time....but when we left and the night was over there was nothing date like about it!! (Read: no goodnight kiss....:blushing: ....heck, no goodnight hug??? Ridiculous.....) But he is going to be in Chicago at the same conference so who knows!

Anyway, enough about me, just wanted to let you know that I wouldn't be on here very consistently this next week.

Cathy - ooh that eye doesn't sound good! I hope you find out what's wrong!

Amy - YAY!!!!! I"m glad you have a date finally!! have fun at the beach!!

Rhiannon - that would be nerve wracking!!

    Everyone else - Hello!!!!!!

    have a great weekend ladies!!

    Hey Sixers!

Connie- enjoy the walking/race. I don't have any plans at all this weekend. Just as usual need to clean from the week of throwing things around.

Pedal- Worrying about TOM is common in all women. I'm not regular at all..... I'm glad you spent some time w/ your Mom.

Lauryn- That was soooo funny!!! I like that!

Shanell- When did you get a fitness coach? That sounds like fun!!!

Cathy- Glad you are doing well. :)

Katie- Biking to work is wonderful. Thats a great way to get some fitness in every day!!! YAY, That takes one thing of your to do list.

    Robin- how are things?

Amy- glad you have the date. Take care and enjoy the beach

Amy lou- Enjoy your travels. WE all have those extra low days sometimes I wonder if our hormones are out of wack on those days. Take care and enjoy yourself

Katy- how are things... tell us whats going on in your life?

RedSox- How is everything w/ the apartment search? Is your puppy twice as big now?

Kristin- hope you are feeling good.

Well ladies... I'm taking a day off from fitness... I think. I worked out every day this week and I want to do a video but I know I should take one day off. My race w/ Tiff and a girlfriend from Atlanta is next weekend. I'm excited!!!

Well.... I'll check back later. :drinker:

Now I have 25.60 saved in my healthy habits jar! YAY
