    I lost 85% fat out of 52 pounds eating about 20% protein. That's what's great about the human body, though, we can choose to eat any combination of macros you want, and the body can pretty much adjust and make it work.

    Adding in lifting and higher protein amounts allows you to have more of an anti-catabolic effect which is the main benefit. It goes for what you are going for. I have lost 100 pounds since August 1st eating 50% protein, 25% carbs, 25% fat. Body fat has dropped drastically and muscle mass has actually gotten leaner and tighter.

    I've done air dip twice at the local university according to it I've actually gain slight muscle mass while on a major cut.
