How often do you workout??

Stength Training 3 days on 1 day off 3 days on 1 day off. About 45 to 60 minutes but thats with a training buddy so about 20 to 30 minutes a day. Once in a while if I get a two days off from work I will do 3 times in one day of cardio and strength for about 30 minutes in the morning, 2 hours in the middle of the day and cardio and strength for about 30 to 40 minutes.0

I do treadmill 40 min 4 times a week and stationary bike 40 min 2 times a week between the days I do treadmill. and rest on saturday. I do strenth training once a week with reps to failure. If it is nice outside ( I live in PA) on saturday or Sunday I go for a walk/jog outside with my dog. (intervals). I pretty much suck at jogging but I am getting better at it. anything that can get my heart rate up. I stay motivated when I put my jeans on and they are loose. I feel so much more energetic. I prefer to get my cardio out of the way before work at 5:30 AM but sometimes I sleep late and have to do it after work. I try to make sure I have at least 24 hr rest before exercising again. hope that helps. BTW I have my own treadmill and stationary bike at home. I doubt I would do it if I had to go to the gym. You can always just walk outside. nothing fancy needed.0

Right now five times a week. In a month or so, I am going to switch it three times a week and do double workouts that day. But for right now I need the discipline and I don't think I am strong enough for double workouts right now.0

6 days a week, 1 hour of kickboxing 6 days plus 20 minutes of tabatas on M, W, and F. I have no idea how to log the tabatas, so I don't.
I never thought I'd be one of those people who "worked out." I was the type to drive around to get the closest parking spot, spent all day on the couch, etc. Eventually, it becomes part of your life, and you can't imagine doing without.0 -
Right now I am doing 4 to 5 days a week where I do 10 to 20 minutes on the Arc Trainer as a warmup, then 35 to 45 minutes of strength training. Just started also adding a Body Pump class on Saturday mornings!0

For almost the entire year of 2011 I worked out seven days a week. Cardio sunday to friday, 4 of those days being running. Weights on monday and saturday, and maybe some light leg lifts on wednesday or thursday. I run a lot. Improving my running is my main goal. Recently I've increased running to 5 days a week, weight lifting 2 or 3 days. I'm also starting to give myself a rest day. I'm training for my 3rd marathon and I'm working up to 50 miles per week.0

I work out every day.... Weights(45mins to hour) and cardio(30 mins) 5 days a wk. Just cardio(30 mins) on the remaining days... After a while your body craves the work out, it actually feels good, somewhat of a runner's high. There are plenty of days I don't want to go to the gym, but the minute I start moving that falls away and I enjoy every bit of it. I would suggest music, if you don't already listen to some when you work out. Turning on the ipod to your favorite fast song, makes the time fly by.0

6 days a week 40 to 80 min each. 3 days lifting on these days I only workout 40 to 60 min. 3 days cardio on these days I up the workout to 80 min, unless I incorporate HIIT then I do it as long as I can usually 60 min.
This week I have worked out 4 days lifting heavy and upped my protein and healthy fats (olive and coconut oil, avocado,.. etc) and lowered my carbs.
I am trying to figure out what I will be doing next week, Still need to read some more I guess0 -
In December, I successfully exercised 5 times a week. In January, I've lost some of my momentum, and I work out 3 days a week. I hope to step it up again next month. My workouts are generally between 20 and 40 minutes. Although, in December, I would still count 10 minute workouts if it involved jump rope. My goal was to create a habit of consistency, and I wasn't as concerned with duration as much as I was the habit of putting on my workout clothes and just getting started.0

I used to go on the elliptical for an hour 4x a week. My iPod playlists got boring, especially since I could predict the amount of time that would elapse with each song (I cover the timer with a towel). I listen to moderately-paced music so I wouldn't get too pumped and go too fast thus tiring more quickly. Also, I started listening to podcasts when songs got boring. Google some interests of yours to see if there's a podcast related to it. Just my thoughts about making the gym less boring.
I started running so my schedule now is M-W-F: strength training (usually at home); T-R-S: Running in the park; Sunday: either the elliptical at the gym or a rest day. SWITCH IT UP and you're more likely to stay motivated and defeat boredom.0 -
I work out 3 times a week for 1hr. My motivation to going to the gym is getting out of the house and reading on my kindle while on the treadmill.0

I am doing the Warrior Dash 12 week trainer.. I do five or six days of 60 to 90 minutes of working out.. Most days I run at least two miles, if it's an off running day, I'll do 30 minutes on the elliptical. I've done zumba, and it's ok, but my cardiovascular fitness makes it a little less of a challenge than I like. I do weight training 3 days a week (heavy and for 3 sets of 15-20 reps) and a couple days a week of bootcamp. If I'm stuck in the house, I'll substitute p90x in for a strength day.0

it varies for me but a miminum of 5 times a week and i usualy do cardio and strength training and it takes me about and hour and 15 minutes to an hour and thirty minutes to get through my workout. Monday and wedensdays i attend an afternoon aerobics class that is an hour and an evening body scultping(total body workout) class which is also an hour. As far as motivation goes I'm easily motivated to go to the gym I know it needs to be done Ive been going to the gym onger than Ive been eating healthy. I love it. I'm a gym rat. But on those weak days I push myself through a workout by pretending Im on tv. I know very nerdy and loser like, but thats how I get myself through most things I dont wanna do. I make it fun for myself. Or i turn a song that gets me super hype. But another way to motivate yourself is to ask someone to join you, and to keep switching it up because I get excited to try new workouts to see how i'll do and how much weight I candle handle and what not0

5 days a week M-F. 75-90 minutes each day. MWF weight lifting and some elliptical. TTh various cardio (treadmill, stationary bike, jump rope, shuttle runs, basketball, etc.)
Motivation...I write down everything I do and each week I try to do better, run faster, whatever it is. Then I set some broader goals. For me right now ... I want to join a soccer team in the Spring so I'm doing more running and sprints to train for it. I'm also turning 35 this summer and I'm gonna go to vegas with a bunch of friends and when we hit the pool, i'm gonna take my shirt off and I wanna hear some ... wwwuuut the hell? and maybe get some looks from the ladies. Then there's the ... there's several cute girls at the gym that makes it fun to see and chat with every day.
You gotta change your mindset ... this isn't a short term thing, you are changing your lifestyle. Find the little things that make it fun and interesting!0 -
3 days on and a rest day...about an hour each time. You must make it a habit...that's the hardest thing....but you have to keep going...trust me...move a little and build up. Buy the Zumba DVD if that is what you enjoy....find something that will peak your interest0

6 days a week for 1 to 2 hours. Saturday is rest day and weigh in day is Sunday (so I'm not tempted to go wild on my rest day)0
