    5'6" and 125 pounds. I usually wear size 4 pants but they are loose and have some size 2's that fit better.

    It's crazy how sizing works. I'm 5'4'', 160, and am comfortably wearing a size 8 in Levis and New York and Co jeans. What's weird is, when I weighed 145 a few years back, I wore a size 8. I can tell by the way my pants fit that by the time I hit 145, I will be easily a 6.

    I'm definitely one of those people that weighs much more than they look. Must be muscle or something, it is very difficult to find someone my height and weight (which is almost "overweight" by BMI standards) and wears a size 2 (and a small, sometimes xsmall shirt so it isn't sitting on my upper body either).

    SOOOO be skeptical about BMI people....

    I usually wear a larger size than my weight says I probably should. I guess because I have wider hips. Now that I'm plus-sized that doesn't really matter, once you reach a certain point, fat's just fat. But when I was in college and weighed 110 pounds I wore a size 7 when everyone else was in a 3 with the same height/weight.

    You sound like me... 5' 4", 147 pounds. My size 8's are getting loose, however size 6's are a little tight. My hips are too big!! LOL

    5'10", 233 lbs, size 16, depending on brand. The size 16 is kind of "loose" in my butt and hips....because I have NO hips lol, but a thick waist. Horrible to shop for pants!! Oh, and being tall DOES NOT help! :)

    but most petites are too long, us elves have trouble finding proper length pants :O the best pair of pants I have are a size 12 petite CAPRI pants that are the perfect length at my ankles :)

    5'4.5'' currently 151 lb from 280 was a size 24 Uk so 22 US
    now still not quite sure, my last aquisition was a pair of jeans in a UK 10 / US 8 but I am uncertain if its just generous sizings or if thats my new size...need to go on a window/try on shopping trip just to check. I dont want to say for certain I am a 10/8 until I know its not just a one brand name fluke

    I am still dumbfounded by the woman who argued with me on a different thread who claimed she was 5'3" between 170 and 180 and wore a size 6!! My daughter is 5'4" 138lbs and wears a size 8 (9 in juniors).

    I think it really depends on the person and their body type. When I was between 160 and 170, I wore a size 6 and I'm 5'3" Size is also pretty relative to the make, measurements would be a better gauge.
