Size is a funny thing ... rather subjective I think. Two people can be the same height and weight but wear different sizes depending on bone structure (frame) and how they "wear" their weight. Two people can be in the same size and one feels fat while the other feels normal or thin. I'm currently 5'4" at 178 and wear 14 at 53 years of age. In my 20's I was about 115-120 lbs and wore size 8; in my 30's I was about 130-135 and wore size 10. Over the years, I gained weight & went up to 160s then lost and went back down to 140s and wore size 10 - it seems sizes had changed over the years. I still have a belt, a pair of pants, and a skirt from the past - the sizes back then were way smaller than they are now. Lesson: it ain't the size of the CLOTHES that matter but the size that I feel MY best in. Just saying.0

10-12 ladies US
I would like to be an 8 but if I wore a 6 I would probably implode from happiness.
I'm 5'7.5 and 160lbs.0 -
Depends on the brand. Pricier clothes have smaller sizes.
5'8" - 152 lbs
Ann Taylor work pants - size 2, but I can still wear my 4's - they don't completely fall off me...
Jeans - size 2 or 4
Cheapie Target/Kohls capris - more often than not, a 4.
Seriously - It makes no sense.0 -
5'10"
250
Size 18
This is an interesting thread because it really shows that we can have similar stats and widely varying clothing sizes. Did you know that the clothing industry is not regulated for sizing? Yup, they can put whatever numbers they want on clothes. Ahhh well...0 -

I'm a size 12 in most stores. Size 14 in some. Size 16 in some others. It's crazy. I wish the sizing were standard.0 -
