you could always go and see the hover damn I thought that was pretty interesting.. and if you can go to laughlin it is a beautiful place to see also... although it is just outside of vegas its about 45 minutes away but beautifull.. Dont forget to go to downtown vegas to see the over head light show that is pretty cool.. good luck and have a great time..

AHHH! Dont waste your time on Laughlin girl! I grew up an hour from there. Its for 70+ age group really. Vegas has SOOOO MUCH! I'll PM you some of the places we are going (April9-12). Been there a billion times too.

i'm a local--been living here 5 years.

shark reef at mandalay bay is very cool and it's actually open till 9 or 11pm. it is closer to $15-20 for a tkt.
for a free aquarium--go to silverton casino (take 1-15 south from the strip and then you'll see the hotel/exit) they even have "mermaids" in there at various times to feed the fish.
or free aquarium at rainforest cafe in mgm

ditto on fremont street--it's icky downton.

if you're there on a sunday am, the champagne brunch at the Paris buffet is really good (or it was last time we went). there is bf food and lunch food, all cuisines and non-stop champagne and free fresh oj. you can hang out at your table as long as you like.

madame tussaud's is very cool. my kids are begging to go back! (in the venetian, enter from the street)
you could go for a gondola ride in the venetian.

bellagio is my 2nd favorite hotel--check out the chuily (sp??) glass in the lobby and the conservatory (amazing floral/botanical displays that change seasonally) and of course there are the high end stores like tiffany's
the wynn is my FAVE hotel--it's just so gorgeous in there. the floor has mosaics and ahhh, it's just so pretty. cartier is in that hotel. it's a small property so easy to walk around and it has walkway to the mall

and i like new york new york. again a smallish property with a cute food court--designed to be like diff neighborhoods of ny (little italy etc). it's a pretty, low-key property. and there is the roller coaster, if you're up for that.

i like the shops at The Forum too. there's a good gelato stand/kiosk and there's cheesecake factory there (rt next to their free aquarium). it's a mix of shops--high end like baccarat and regular like gap. and FAO schwartz if you want to bring back something for kiddos

m&m store next to the mgm is another good stop for trinkets for kiddos. there's a bridge that connects mgm and new york new york.

yes to hoover dam if you're into that. i didn't get to go thru tour b/c baby didn't want to but dh and kids did and it is cool.

if you want off the strip for a hike--go out to red rock rec area. many trails

sorry i can't speak abt any clubs--dh and i barely have dates anymore.
