    I have a Nikon D90. I mostly use a 50mm 1.8, but I have the 18-105mm kit lens as well. I don't know much about Pentax, but I've heard good things. :-)

I just have the kit lens. I have the K200d. I'm looking for a 50mm 1.4 though. I shoot more film than anything on my K1000 and ME. I have a few lenses for my film cameras but I don't know the spec's off hand.

I have a Canon Rebel XSi (shoot with the regular 18-55 lens because that's all I have) but I soon want to upgrade to a Rebel T2i or a Nikon D3100 or something like that. Or possibly get a new lens instead. I shoot mostly people. I LOVE doing photoshoots with fancy dresses and awesome make up and such for fun. I'm not as big on nature but I do sometimes take pictures of nature.

I'll post pictures here later but for now if anybody wants to see some of my stuff here's my DeviantArt account and Facebook page...

I'm a professional photographer based on the south-coast of the UK.

I specialise in newborn portraits, and commercial/corporate work - shooting wildlife and motorsport/watersport for my own enjoyment.

You can take a look at my work here:

www.meonshorestudios.co.uk and in my blog www.meonshorestudios.co.uk/blog

FWIW - I shoot NIkon currently and have done for the last 3 years - although in the past I have used Hasselblad digital, Canon film and digital, and Bronica film, and back in the late 1980's Practica !

Love to photograph on the side.
My weapons of choice is Nikon (SLR/DSLR).
My p&s is a Canon IXUS.
Two cameras I'm trying to get into are the Actionsampler &a build-your-own pinhole.

Have these crazy bursts of inspiration. Then it fizzles out. Until I start again.

Any ideas where (in Sydney) one can get film developed for cheap?

    Hey guys quick question!

My boyfriend and I have the Nikon D5000, 18-55 mm VR Lens and 70-300 mm VR lens. (Hope I said that right because I have NO clue! ) Didn't purchase it ourselves - was a present from a family member. I'm a make up artist and would like to take pictures of my work, what lens would be best for this?

    Thanks in advance x

I have the same lens, you should be able to shoot make-up shots with that.

I'd love to participate but I can't log in to Photobucket from work. I'll try to remember when I get home.

I don't consider myself as a professional photographer (yet) as i am still studying, but im on my way there. I am a concert and portrait photographer (earning money with it) and also enjoy photographing sports and street life.
Right now i have Canon 7D, 50mm f/1.4 and 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II. I am planning to invest in more lenses, but this things takes time and money, which a strugling art student like me doesnt have :)

    I have a Nikon D90. I mostly use a 50mm 1.8, but I have the 18-105mm kit lens as well. I don't know much about Pentax, but I've heard good things. :-)

I recently upgraded from a D70 to a D90. I've got a very similar 50mm that's 2.8. They are very handy lenses. My usual lens until it stopped focusing right was a Tarmon 28-105mm f2.8, 82mm diameter. Heavy but a great lens. I bumped it on the floor taking it out of my bag and it no longer focuses properly below around f4 or so.

I have a long lens, a 300-600mm lens also by Tamron that is really handy for shooting wildlife or anything far away.
