Am I too old to be trendy?

Most middle age people trying to be too trendy just look foolish.
And they ruin the trend.....
I knew I was done when the baggy pants with your underwear hanging out came out as the style.
Maybe it's not the same for ladies?0 -
Some trends look ridiculous on EVERYONE. Drooping pants are one of them.
I think you can wear trends at any age. Just not the stupid ones. I wear some clothes from the Juniors department, but I draw the line at clothes that would be more appropriate on my 11 year old nieces. Plus, ONE trendy piece is ok. An entire outfit of trends is a costume.0 -
At least I've never worn my pyjamas to the supermarket, and I wouldn't even wear a onesie in the house!0

I am 52 and I dress trendy.. I buy what I like and what looks good on me.... I love fashion... I have recently hit my goal weight... I love skinny jeans, leggins, boots.... I wear my mini skirts with knee hi socks, or my converse knee hi boots.... I think you dress how u feel and what looks good on you for your body shape and size.....0

I'm 56 and wear slogan tees. My daughter bought me one for Christmas that says 'Yoda says relax!' on it.
I want one!
You're never too old to be fun and funky. At 37yrs old, I'm more fat and frumpy. As soon as I hit my goal weight, I'm treating myself to a whole new wardrobe of 'real me' clothes.
The one 'fashion statement' that I REALLY despise, however, is the jeans-below-the-*kitten* look. My 16yr old son wears them. I got fed up last week, followed him up the stairs and pulled the damn things up so hard he squeaked :laugh:0 -
I am 61 and I say you are never to old to dress trendy or sexy.I have a 33 yr old daughter and if i wear something that makes me look old she says "Mom you look like an old lady" HAHAHA.wear what ever you feel good in. You deserve it!!
This My girls too!0 -
I am 41 and I am currently wearing this shirt at work
If someone told me to dress my age, I don't know what that would mean.0 -
I'm 56 and neither act nor look my age, or so I'm told. I'm loving it.0

No way!! A lot of people get better with age...never let your fashion and style go...
Consider yourself a fine wine...aged to perfection!
So many celebrities (although they have their stylists and trainers and chefs) are still fashionable over 40, 50, ,and beyond...if they can do it we can do it!
Plus, dressing nice always makes me feel better about myself...no matter what age, shape or size.0 -
Who is anyone to tell you how to dress? Since when did it become mandatory to dress in drab boring or shapeless clothes once you hit a certain age? If the clothes fit - wear them! Mom jeans? Hell no!0
