When I workout I wear boxers, as it allows me to be cooler.

Underarmor underwear. Greatest thing since sliced bread. Bit expensive though but worth every penny.0

I wear the UA boxer breifs, generally the original O series seems most durable and comfortable. I do quite a bit of running and weight lifting; most of which would qualify as "vigorous" activity level. The UA underwear stops the moisture build-up and keeps me from chaffing, which happened real bad with any type of cotton underwear.
As an aside, they're not cheap; I've gotten the UA shorts in stores for around $20/pair. But they're worth it to me so I keep buying them.0 -
silk armani they are like heaven so soft and only like 40 dollar eatch0
-
Comfort soft boxers... All day every day.0

I've always worn standard Hanes or Fruit of the Loom briefs and never had a big issue. If I get any chafing, I just use a little petroleum jelly on my next workout. For me, it always more about how the shorts fit.0

Hanes Boxer Briefs are the cloth of choice for my loins when I'm working out...0

I agree with the cycle briefs/spandex/boxer briefs when active. Don't want to be flopping around.0
-
Boxer briefs. Boxers aren't typically flexible and... don't offer... support.
I can't believe anyone still wears tighty wighties... ever.0 -
+1 for the bicycle shorts. Great for running, biking, golfing, any activity where you need to keep your junk in place.0

Boxer briefs that are soft but not too tight.
For exercise - compression shorts. Nike are the most comfortable for me.0 -
underarmor boxer shorts. I recently got this ones that are the best I never heard the name before "Layer 8" They keep the twins in place and don't get too hot or sweaty.0

H&M! But cut the tag out because it rests between your cheeks and itches!0
