Instead of Soy Sauce or Low Sodium Soy Sauce try Braggs Amino Acid. It is only 110 mg of sodium per serving. Lots less than any of the other two and with the same flavor.0

I'm too lazy to read all the replies :
Garlic Lime Cilantro chicken
Marinade:
Juice of 2 limes + Zest
a bunch of cilantro, finely chopped
Pepper ( I usually salt and pepper )
a clove of garlic or two
a tablespoon of olive oil
Marinate two chicken breasts for a few hours, then grill or broil. Boil the marinade down into a sauce to serve on top.

I put chicken breasts in the crock pot with a jar of pineapple, then serve it over brown rice or quinoa.
Can't wait to try some of these other recipes.0 -

I like to take a bag (frozen) of chicken tenderloins or breasts and put them in the crockpot with Trader Joe's low fat Marinara on top with about 1/4 cup water. This is good served over either whole wheat noodles or brown rice. Yum!
How much Marinara did you put in when you cooked it up?
Thanks!:flowerforyou:0 -

Thank you for all the recipe ideas. Just got a load of chicken breast from the butchers and want to make healthy dishes with them. I have a Morroccan spice mix that you add a bit of oil to and make a spice rub. Then I put it in a pan and seal the flavours in, add a tin of chopped tomatoes and a tin of chickpeas, a few chopped up dried apricots or raisins and some cashews towards the end of cooking. Cook in the pan or in the oven until the chicken is cooked. Serve with brown rice or cous cous and some carrots and broccoli or other vegetable of your choice. Yummy. The leftover spiced chicken is delicious cold in wraps or sandwiches as well so ideal if you are trying to cook on a budget and still have healthy lunches.0
