Yes, in America, even our hobos are fat.

    'MERICA PHUCK YEAH!!

I honestly thought the same exact thing. Speaks to volumes to our civilization that a bum in America can be "over fed"

    Seriously, it's pretty cool.

Since the name "Hobo Dinner" is offensive to some (I'm sorry, I had no idea) I tried to rename the meal-- but I can no longer edit the original post.

I would like to rename it to: "Cookware-less Cooking Technique Inspired By People On-The-Go Who Live A Carefree Lifestyle And Oftentimes Ride The Rails."

My deepest apologies to all I have offended.

LMAO!!!! This thread is pure win!! The recipe, OP, and comments.

    what is liquid smoke...

Find it near the marinades and barbecue sauces. It adds a smokey grilled flavor to your food. Zero calories and a nice touch!

In America it's stocked with the barbecue sauces and marinades. It instantly adds a smoky grilled flavor, has no calories and is low in sodium.

A bottle lasts forever because you only use a few splashes of it.

I don't know a ton of hobos who can afford gas grills or boneless, skinless chicken breast. I think it's more like a tire fire along with bone-in, skin-on opposum. And the veggies look a lot more like weeds and broken glass, unless they happened upon a zucchini farm.

Okay, just kidding. I really like the idea and I think tinfoil cooking can be awesome while camping. I like buying a cheap tuna steak or salmon filet, tossing in some lemon slices and olive oil, and cooking that bad boy over a fire.
