I've got tons of kitchen gadgets. I love to cook! I use all my gadgets on a regular basis, but my favorites are my Food Scale and my Salad Spinner.

A food scale is a must if you are going to track your calories. Knowing that you've eaten 85 grams of carrots versus approx 1 cup really helps with the logging. And it is much easier to bake desserts by weight rather than by volume.

A salad spinner is a freaking God send. Words cannot express how much I can't live without it. It allows me to prep and pre-wash most of my produce AND put it away dry, which extends it's shelf life.

These are mine too (except I have a George Foreman instead of Griddler). I can't live without them.

hahahaha this post is right up my alley. I'm so bad with kitchen gadgets, my extended family refers to me as the "gadget *kitten*". Got my panini press, my waffle maker, my blender (of course), my two-loaf bread maker (one of the two doubles as a jam maker (wanna feel like you died and went to heaven? try warm, just make strawberry jam on warm, just made bread)). Crock pot, of course. But, most important and most recent, the vacuum sealer. I now portion out organic, low-sodium meals into microwavable dishes and vacuum seal and freeze them to make my own frozen meals for work lunches. Pennies on the dollar and the ingredients are controlled by me.

    Yeah. Gadget *kitten*. LOL

I am all about the immersion blender right now. The way it let's me control texture (I like some soups velvety smooth and others with some tooth) is amazing.

I also have a yogurt maker that I am pretty taken with. The cost is only slightly less than store bought yogurt, but it has glass jars and is very low energy so it helps out house reduce our environmental impact. The yogurt come out perfectly and there are tons of options for adding fruits and flavorings.

    Great topic!
