hahahaha this post is right up my alley. I'm so bad with kitchen gadgets, my extended family refers to me as the "gadget *kitten*". Got my panini press, my waffle maker, my blender (of course), my two-loaf bread maker (one of the two doubles as a jam maker (wanna feel like you died and went to heaven? try warm, just make strawberry jam on warm, just made bread)). Crock pot, of course. But, most important and most recent, the vacuum sealer. I now portion out organic, low-sodium meals into microwavable dishes and vacuum seal and freeze them to make my own frozen meals for work lunches. Pennies on the dollar and the ingredients are controlled by me.

    Yeah. Gadget *kitten*. LOL

I've thought about that vacuum sealer too but you gotta refill it with the brand's seals....so it's kind of off-putting to me. But we are also kitchen gadget *kitten* here as well, and kitchen tool snobs!

Does a coffee pot count? Cause I am pretty sure that thing has saved my family's life a thousand times over....just saying.

    Definitely!

^^^my thoughts exactly! I couldn't survive without my Moccamaster cooffe machine :) All the rest of my kitchen gadgets I could be without, but not coffee

Kitchen gadgets are so much fun! I love my KitchenAid Stand Mixer, my immersion blender, and my Keurig. I use my Magic Bullet almost daily for making quick smoothies, but my favorite fun gadgets right now are my Zoku popsicle maker and Yonana's!

My Vitamix is by far the best kitchen gadget I have. It does everything!
Other Favorites are: Breville Citrus Juicer and Breville Fountain Elite juicer.
  • A kitchen scale.

I didn't realize how much off I was with the portions. Some high, some low. I will probably only use it for a few weeks to get used to things. :)

My knife. 10" long. I worked in a kitchen for a while and once you get used to one of those industrial knives, you can't go back. The only other knife I use is a paring knife for strawberries.

Silicon spatulas, turners, and tongs that are heat resistant up to 500F

Marcato pasta maker. Pretty much every single day. I also LOVE my epicurean cutting boards. I have about a half dozen of them.

Right now, I'm longing for a nice crock pot.
