Before Christmas I got a potato peeler, a bread cutting board with slats and a really nifty bread knife. I love them all, but I especially love the potato peeler. I used it tonight, in fact.

best investment I ever made. it is so fantastic. My cousin's had her vitamix for like 25 years, and ive had mine for 1. I totally see it as something that will last a lifetime. I love that i pulverize everything and get ALL the benefits of the fruit/vegetables (and i can disguise tons of vegetables - like kale and collard greens, swiss chard, carrots, peppers, zucchini, spinach - in fantastic smoothies)

hahahaha this post is right up my alley. I'm so bad with kitchen gadgets, my extended family refers to me as the "gadget *kitten*". Got my panini press, my waffle maker, my blender (of course), my two-loaf bread maker (one of the two doubles as a jam maker (wanna feel like you died and went to heaven? try warm, just make strawberry jam on warm, just made bread)). Crock pot, of course. But, most important and most recent, the vacuum sealer. I now portion out organic, low-sodium meals into microwavable dishes and vacuum seal and freeze them to make my own frozen meals for work lunches. Pennies on the dollar and the ingredients are controlled by me.

    Yeah. Gadget *kitten*. LOL

I've thought about that vacuum sealer too but you gotta refill it with the brand's seals....so it's kind of off-putting to me. But we are also kitchen gadget *kitten* here as well, and kitchen tool snobs!

Blendtec - with the larger Wild Side Bottle as well as regular one

Method granite countertop/Mrs. Meyers granite countertop cleaners
    Method All Purpose cleaner
Cascade - in all it's forms
LeRosle (made in GERMANY) garlic press

Kitchen gadgets are so much fun! I love my KitchenAid Stand Mixer, my immersion blender, and my Keurig. I use my Magic Bullet almost daily for making quick smoothies, but my favorite fun gadgets right now are my Zoku popsicle maker and Yonana's!
