I would like to lose a total of 70 pounds. I know it will take awhile but I'm hoping by using the resources on this site and meeting new people who have similar goals I can get this done. I like to read about all the weight loss happening here and hopefully I'll be one of those people.
The hardest thing for me is getting motivated to exercise and learning what things to cut out of my diet. Pop is going to be really hard for me to cut out, but I know I need to do it.

New here to MFP. I am looking for some support as well. I need to lose 70+ lbs. I was doing great over the summer until the end of October when life got in the way. I am ready to get back to working hard & establishing a solid routine. I really want to get rid of thie weight & having others in the same situation will help me stay accountable. i haven't been on her but 25 days and i learned it is easier to find people that you have things in common with them and send them a friend request!
when i first had this sight (but never got involved with it) i only had one friend.. the friendlier i got and searching for people that i could admire or have more in common with i have a lot of motivational and inspirational friends....
but i had to open the "door" to this first!

Hi! I just signed up today, my daughter sent me the link. So far, it looks like something I could definitely use!! My daughter is getting married June 1st of this year and I have 50 lbs to lose by then!! I know I can do it if I put my mind to it, I just need some encouragement and motivation! I am with you too! I have well more than 40 pounds to lose but we all have to start somewhere. Feels like I have lost and gained the same weight over and over. Finally ready to say good-bye to it for good! Count me in and feel free to add me as a friend!0
