Sara don't apologize..plus I feel your pain, the TJ thread went up late too...stupid computer. Love your new pic by the way
Marla good to know you are still alive and kickin.
I took last week off. Spent some time with my parents, ate fairly well but no exercise. Spent a lot of time sitting on my butt...but it was a good relax/refresh/renew kinda thing.
Happy to be back.0 -
Thanks, ladies! :blushing: I just feel like I'm failing the group when I get it up late.
Lyn - Thank you! I like your new av, too! I can't believe how big Adi is getting. It seems like just a few weeks ago you put up the cute little one of her in the flowers. *sigh* Silly babies. How was time at your parents' house?!
Marla - Good luck getting a run in today! Although I have a hard time "running" to begin with, I find it more difficult in the cold. Yucky. Thanks, btw. You have a new av up, too! We're all looking quite hot these days.
Orchid - I just read about ash clean-up. YUCK! Good luck managing that with the little ones. I'm glad you're okay, though! Volcanos are scary! Eek!0 -
Yep-- still here-- still kickin' away-- got refocused on my efforts this week in the black team "stop the mindless eating" challenge, been running to train for my 5k-- and my body is showing the fruits of both efforts. I'm really excited!!!!
One of my teammates is sending me his old scale, so I just may venture back on it sometime next week-- I'd altered my goal to 40 pounds-- but if I can regroup, refocus and start losing-- the 50 pound goal is REALLY what my heart desires...so we'll see.
Glad you had a nice break last week-- have a great week, all!0 -
hey moms! just stopping in to say hi! have a good afternoon :happy:0

The wind is supposed to die down later, so I'll be venturing out this evening some time for my run. I bought some new running shoes at Wal-Mart-- yikes-- I'm not terribly hopeful for their success, but I bought mens shoes for a bit more support, so we'll see. I'd really like to stay away from the expensive running shoes, but these babies are seeing 15 miles a week these days, so I may have to spend the money if the cheapos don't work. Fingers crossed for painfree running this day!
Glad we're all still here plugging away--to all!

Sara – We’ll forgive you this time. Just don’t let it happen again.
D’s mom – Laziness is very important to keep you healthy! Hope you enjoyed it.
Marla – Good job on keeping up with the running. Impressive.
Beth – Yea! for fitting into pre-pregnancy clothes. Good job!
Lenece - Nice to "see" you.
Harley is getting her first tooth! You can't see the teeth yet but you can feel them. On the bottom middle. It feels like the tooth to the right side of that might be coming in too. So her smile with be a little off center until she gets the other middle one in but oh well. It's exciting all the new stuff but it's sad at the same time because she's losing some of her babyness.0 -
Yeah party was great no tears or tantrums 14 kids plus my own and my friends making a total of 15 3/4 yr olds one 5 yr old a two yr old a ten yr old a 15 yr old and a 1 yr old so pretty full house but even though it forecast rain its was lovely and sunny so they were all outside now I know why we bought all that climbing frame and swing and stuff worth every penny.
Didnt workout today recovering from all the work this weekend but back to it tomorrow and looking forward to it.
ate well all weekend too busy to sit down so maybe burnt a few lbs that way who knows.
Gonna go put my feet up and watch tv for an hour before bed catch up tomorrow.0 -
Well here I am once again..found my way back to this site..I've been really down n stressed to the max..bad enough that I'm having so many lows with my blood sugar that my kids have been trained on what to do if mom cant wake up or passes out..As alot of you know I have been goin through this pre cancer in my cervix..well I need a leep procedure which with no insurance is hard to get done..well I have been prayin n prayin askin what do I do..Well at the fisrt of the month I was down in Evansville Indiana visiting family..well when I got ready to leave my car had been hit with 2 other cars by one person..Thank God no one was hurt just the cars and the elderly ladies pride n her car..of coruse we went through the shock then the cops then the waiting on insurance ppl to do estimates..Well I got a phone call a few days later saying we have totaled your van..I was in complete shock but they offered me a good amount of money plus I got to buy my van back n can still drive it...
which is a very good thing..So now I have the money to get it done...woo hooooooooo:drinker: :drinker:
Now onto my kids...They are doing pretty good and I have started my oldset son on aderall xr 15 mg...This was very hard for me to do I cried and cried...but he seems to be doing really well with it...As far as myself I to have gotten on something for my nerves..Its been a month n seems to be workin pretty good..As far as my weight goes thats in the gutter for now...As soon as I have this surgery and I can clam down I will be back on track hopefully..all I know is I want to have a lil peace in my life..lol never gonna happen..
My man n I are doing really well n I mean really well..He has become sweeter n more understanding and loving..I guess I'm breakin him down  We've been together 10 months and hope for many more with him..I will try n catch up on everyones post n all that..I'm sorry if I've rambled on just feelin in those who care..hope everyone is doing well hope to be back soon...

Hey ladies,
I am ready...I think. Naw, I really want to start working out more. I am convinced, although it took me awhile to get on the wagon, that I can't lose all this weight just watching what I'm eating. I did start doing the TurboJam dvds, but haven't been really consistent. So I am gonna start at least doing them 5 times a week. I think they will really help me out. Even as I'm losing weight, I am still quite soft and squishy.:grumble:  Being Momma, my arm muscles are good for carrying baby, but not anything heavier, and they're the only muscles I have. Several people have encouraged me to start using weights...I'm getting there, but I think maybe resistance might be better for me. I'm such a nervous girl about bulking up. I know that doesn't happen to women, but I just can't get past the thought. My Hubby is...small framed?! I would hate to get...you know, more muscle-y than him.
I'm such a spelling freak. I re-read what I've written after it's been sent...UGH!0 -

morning ladies! i just wanted to share that i've been doing the leslie sansone 5 mi fat burning dvd and i love it! i borrowed it from the library. she's a little corny, but still makes me smile. and i like that i can mix up the order of the miles--to keep it interesting and to keep my muscles guessing what comes next.
well, time for breakfast. hope you all have a great day! :flowerforyou::flowerforyou:

welcome :flowerforyou:0 -
can I post too... since I'm a "stay at home" dad?0

sure, Jason-- as long as you don't mind poop stories, hormonal bloating woes and TOM tales--
Welcome-- we're equal opportunity!0 -
Sonja - Welcome to the group! We have a few home-schoolers in here, too!
Jason - I'm a BeachBody coach as well! My main workout is TurboJam b/c P90x scares the bejeezes out of me. Eek! Welcome to the Stay-at-home group! I'll change the name for you on next week's thread.
Dana - Glad you are back! i hope everything continues to head in the right direction for you!
Stacy - Wow, that's a lot of info! I have a hard time with everyone's names b/c we have a huge "turnover" in this group for some reason. We have a lot of folks that post like once a month & I just simply can't remember their names. Oh, and as much as Leslie is corny, Denise Austin is worse, IMO. She makes me nutty.
Have lovely Tuesdays, SAH's! :flowerforyou:0 -
