I say keep the peanut butter. Even if you are eating the fewest calories in a day (1200), there is still room for 100 of them to be from peanut butter.
I have to be careful because PB is one of my splurge foods... in other words, I start eating and I just can't stop. :blushing: But when it's in moderation, peanut butter is wonderful.0 -
Have you tried making your own? Some stores now have grinders to do this.
try here:

There is a store here in Ft. Wayne where I live but you can also order online.
JC Penney has a peanut butter maker on sale for $29.99 right now....here's the link:

I'm going to make my confession. I eat Peter Pan peanut butter. I love it. I eat a peanut butter sandwich at least 4 days a week for lunch. Usually with banana, sometimes homemade jam.
I tried the natural ones, I tried the Smart Balance one. I could not get use to the flavor. I've loved peanut butter my whole life. When I was little I almost lived off of it. There is now way I would want to give up my peanut butter.0 -
I eat peanut butter everyday this is where a lot of my fat comes from. But I had to realize that I need some good fats in my diet to keep me satisfied. Peanut Butter and Olives are my favorites-well not together.0

My new addiction is all natural unsalted almond butter. It's a little weird at first b/c there is no salt or sugar, but it is soooooooooooooo good! What's even better is adding a little bit of honey and eating it on a banana or an apple!!!0

I eat natural peanut butter every single day. No need to change it in any way. Mushed peanuts are awesome. :bigsmile:0

I eat regular peanut butter too, i just allow for it in my calories, i love it on bananas or apples! yummy snack!0

PB2!! It is a powder based peanut butter that tastes wonderful. It is all natural with no artifical preservatives or sweeteners and has 85% less calories. One serving ( 2 tbsp.) is 53 calories. You just mix two tablespoons of the powder with 1 tablespoon of water (or other liquid of your choice if you want to get creative)! You can only order it online but here is the website! It also comes in chocolate flavor :-)

Peanut Butter was the hardest thing for me to give up so I was exstatic when I found this and now I use it all the time, even when I cook with PB.0 -
There is no reason to miss anything. Just measure it out and log the calories. Peanut butter toast is one of my favorite snacks at night ( if I have the calories)0

I eat PB every day also. Naturally More PB has a little less cals than regular PB and is lower in fat (but is made with flaxseed oil) http://www.peanutsnack.com is their website. I can only find it at Super Wal*mart around here.0

I had peanut butter on my celery a couple days ago, just spread it thin to where I was only using one tablespoon... maybe just set aside a certain amount of calories for it once in a while, that way you're not depriving yourself of it but you're not going over.0
