I usually get a foot-long... then lament the sodium lol.. But a sweet onion chicken teriyaki is soooo good :) Especially with spinach and cucumbers.

I definitely could eat a whole one, but a 6" subway club totally fills me up. I'd like to buy a foot long one and save the other half for lunch the next day, as the 6" is like 4.50 or something. I have a silly question, do they scoop out the bread at all of them? I'd like to get that done on my next one, but I'm afraid of looking silly when I ask them if they don't know what I mean. Also, does it change the carb/sodium/calories significantly, I don't see any scooped ones in the MFP database.

Used to manage a subway...ate it almost every day for three years. Quit, and now I really don't eat there at all.

However, I never had any issues maintaining my weight or anything even eating subway twice a day for so long and the sodium that it is full of. So unless sodium has a huge affect on you, I don't see the problem.

My problem with subway is the food itself, the chemicals it's packed in/preserved in, and the practices used in the back when customers cannot see. The meat isn't quality meat, full of fat, gristle, blood and bone [in the chicken strips].

However, when I DO decide I need subway I get a footlong turkey with avo :) yumyum.

I used to regularly eat a footlong, but now I split it with my husband. We are both satisfied afterward. Pair it with a yogurt or some cut up veggies.

    I do :)

I only do 6" for lunch, but if it's dinner I get the footlong. I never double anything, never get cheese, only eat wheat, and I only use lite mayo or mustard. I pick from veggie, turkey, or chicken breast.

Not that its my favorite..lol. I love the chicken bacon ranch, but a footlong CBR is over 1000 cals :noway:

I eat so low sodium most of the time that it doesn't bother me if I have a high sodium meal now and then.

I used to be able to but now can only handle 6 inches (easy, tiger!) My standard is 6 inch turkey and ham, no cheese no toast and all veggies except corn (DOES NOT BELONG ON A SANDWICH!) and olives, which I love but the ones they use at UK subway are too salty.

My favorite is the italian bmt but I usually don't get that because of the calories...I usually get the turkey, ham or veggie...I wish I had one right now! It's pouring rain here and I don't wanna go out...

I've always had a full footlong. I didn't realize how much sodium is in one until I started using MFP!!! Even when getting flatbread it's just outrageous!! But I do love me some Subway. Especially now that it is $5 Footlong Month!! But I've been good. I think next time I go I will order a footlong but save half for later. :) Mmmmmm.

I love Subway. Its seems like the best choice when on the run. I have started to get the flat bread. You can taste the vegs more. I understand the sodium is high and I try to watch as much as possible. I even like the new breakfast sandwiches...

I went today and got a foot-long oven roasted chicken on wheat. I could have easily ate the whole thing, I had just come from the gym and was starving! I had half though and will have the other half for lunch tomorrow. YUM!
