just been for a 10 min wobble at a fitness place and just wondering how many calories it burns? was a very weird feeling and at one point felt like having a corset on!!

any input grateful

feel free to add me :flowerforyou:

its that vibrating platform thing you stand on and you hang on to the handles and it speeds up.

I had to google both.... curiosity and all that... a wobble board is different from a power plate...I haven't figured out what a power place actually does yet, but a wobble board kinda looks like like I'd fall and bust my bum if I ever tried it

I'm assuming you are just standing on it? If that's the case, then you wouldn't burn anymore calories than if you were just standing around.

    It's a gimmick.
  • didn't get told to do any on it  it was free anyway so nothing lost :indifferent:

I thought they were more for core training, but this suggests that they do have some benefit.

    Did you typo 45?

Lance Armstrong towing a bear running the other direction while pedaling uphill against gale-force wind doesn't burn 450 calories in 10 minutes.

Probably about 1-3 calories per minute is reasonable for a power plate estimate.

I thought you meant the dance...LOL...I cannot imagine a vibrating plate causes any real calorie burn. Vibrators on the other hand...

Might not burn 450 cals, but I'd pay to see that.
