Originally this morning, since I work overnight and have not yet gone to bed, it is still my thursday, I was going to just chill out and enjoy a day of doing nothing.
It was cold and dreary.
Then I decided that I needed some hygiene stuff (Because the ladies don't like it when ya smell like garbage!). Could have drove to the store to get it, but instead I looked at the clock, said "F*** it" and walked my happy backside. Took an hour 20 to get there, wander around a bit, and head back. But it was fun and I got some exercise in so Wooty Woot!0 -
I'm overwhelmed at the number of hits... great reasons to smile!
Stay postive, upbeat and laugh at yourself a little each day. We're all in this together.
And remember to smile!

Had a student that has been depressed all year come in with the biggest smile I've seen in a long time, he came to tell me that he was moving because his parents are getting back together.
I love good news like that0 -

Went for a long 5 mile walk today with a dear friend. It was 50 degrees (I live in NH) and bright sunshine. There's no problem, concern or worry that doesn't seem a lot more manageable when you're surrounded by fresh air and sunshine.0

It's Saturday are you Smiling?
It's a cold Saturday in Boston and a perfect day to chill around the house!
Chill equaled hanging in bed all day watching tv for hours till my butt was numb. I'd yak on the phone about all the stuff I was going to do later that day (of course I never did). Sometimes I managed a little laundry, mostly I trucked back and forth to the fridge eatng evertything in sight...
Not this Saturday, matter of fact not the last several Saturdays!
I've reclaimed them! I've even bought new sheets for my bed on one of those "get the hell otta the house" Saturdays!
Habits can make or break us. The food choices I can handle (well pretty well) It's my behavior.... Old Habits really do die hard!
I'm working on it.
Gotta run I'm going outside:)
