i have 2 that r tied for first place. they r:
leaving on a jet plane by John Denver and don't wanna miss a thing by Aerosmith.
my 4 yr old cousin died of stomach cancer and when she passed the first song was playing. Then the second song was played at her funeral. Everytime i hear these 2 songs it takes me back :( John Denver was her favourite singer, she had such an old soul and always said things that made u feel like she had been on this earth before.

Meet on the Ledge: Fairport Convention. They finish off their festival every year with this one. I'm in tears every year.

Another Mans War: The Levellers. One of their early ones & proof that nothing ever changes.

    Hurt: Johnny Cash. Just heartbreaking.

"Pardaic My Prince" - Bright Eyes

In fact most Bright Eyes is severely depressing, but Pardaic My Prince is about a baby drowning in a bathtub, so that one takes the cake.

    Someone Like You by Adele
Remember me this Way by someone whose name I can't remember

It is the tone of this song, or other Adele songs that make me cry. Weird, but I cannot turn the station:ohwell:

Hallelujah is definitely one of my favorite songs of all time! Sad but so beautiful. Also a great cover of this by Kate Voegle.
