Keep up the good work Chrissy and Sanifrey!

BTW, Sanifrey, I love your Jillian quote. With quotes like that in your head, you have to lose weight, right???

I just love that quote & I love Jillian's no nonsense approach to diet & exercise!! I have that quote taped on my treadmill & when I feel like slowing down or grabbing hold of the bars I just try to channel my inner Jillian!

That is so cool. I will have to remember that myself. I also love jillian's no nonsense approach. That is what I need in my life.

Sorry guys, I forgot. :blushing: And, I've also been having trouble getting to the message boards and logging my food from work, for some reason. It's working right now, though. But, I just found out I went WAY over on sodium yesterday............. I don't like that. I usually have over 1000 left each day. Today wasn't much better... I'll only have around 600 left out of 2500.

I'm crossing my fingers for a loss this week, but I not really feeling it. :indifferent:

I haven't had dinner yet and according to the log, I only have 79 calories left to eat. Oooops.

It might help if I would start exercising again:happy:

I still don't feel up to par.... However, if I take Jillian's quote to heart, I should be running. I think I will look for a compromise after dinner.

HI Blue team...I haven't checked in for a few weeks, so I'm not suprised that I got "cut" .

I have been extremely busy at work, and have other crap going on....way too much.

That said I'm down to 159.6

    I'm here in spirit!

    nice work all!

We brought the dogs for a walk tonight and I decided to start jogging with our puppy. My jogging is his walking. It is so much easier than last year. I suppose taking off over 30 lbs might help with that also. I think I'm going to try and jog or run some more on my cardio days. I'm so sore today. I guess that is what I get for not exercising for two weeks. No pain no gain. :drinker:

Welcome back watch48win. I don't think anyone gets "cut" from this team. I missed a couple of weeks too and my name was added back in when I started reported my numbers again.

j_g4ever, you inspired me this morning. My spouse talked me out of exercising last night. Today, I read your post and was motivated to start moving again. I exercised this morning for the first time in a long while.

Forgive me if this is old news...Yesterday, I noticed that we can delete foods from our frequent foods lists. I deleted some items today and found some others I have been having to search for lately. I am very excited as the list is a little more user friendly now.

Hey guys. :flowerforyou: Glad to see some people coming back.

j_g - that is awesome! I can't wait to run.

sanifrey - good job breaking that plateau!

    chrissy - BL  yay!!

I have my WW meeting in the morning and I can't wait. I don't think I've lost any this week, though. I think I have some water weight left over from my really high sodium day. I've been drinking lots and lots of water and am working on an XL coffee right now that my bf brought to me @ work. I asked him for a large coffee (which is really big at the place I get it!), two hazelnut creamers and six packets of Splenda (I like kid coffee). He brought an XL and said he doubled everything in it!! :noway: :indifferent: Bless his heart.

I'm so glad that I can be an ispiration. Now that I have learned (even though I fall off the wagon here and there) how to eat healthy I want that for everyone around me also. Along with exercise. I think today I will try and jog for a mile and see how it works. I have my sit ups that I have to do tonight along with my theigh exercises and my lower abs to work on. I will be wearing that two piece in no time. I can't wait to weigh in next week. :flowerforyou:

So, j_g4ever, how did the jog go???

I am a little sore from working out yesterday and I still managed to go for a walk today. I didn't eat breakfast so I need to make better choices for the rest of the day.

I hope everyone else is doing well today. Go Blue team!

Im really enjoying the jogging thing. I don't know who said it but they said if you can do 1 mile you can do 2 so if not tonight I will tomorrow take my dog (the puppy) for 1 mile and then drop him off and jog the second. I need to bring my phone with me however just incase that seizure happens. O man that would suck. I would have my husband following me with our car if that happen. :grumble:

So I was just doing math about how much I have lost and how long I have been on this journey. So I have lost 38lbs thus far and its been 9 months that is about 4lbs per week so that means I have another 9 months to get to my goal weight. In a way its like WOW I have lost all that weight and the other part of me is like WOW its going to take me another 9 months to get to where I personally need to be. :grumble: Its fusterating in a way. I love to see the scale going down and I know its not healthy to loose too much too fast and the holidays are always a set back that is for sure. Alright I'm done with my blabbing. Goodnight everyone and I shall wake up with a smile on my face and a good additude.

O by the way on top of the screeen as I'm typing this it says 30lbs in 8 weeks!!! :explode:

Well I think I'm back!

I been feeling really down in the dumps and this morning I got an email from my p90x coach asking me where the hell I am. She gave me a nice encouraging kick in the rear. What the hell am I doing sitting on my butt wasting time, eh?

hmo4 and j_g4ever, you both are looking good. Your progress has made me re-think my snack plans for this afternoon....That Easter chocolate was looking really good. I have now logged my intake so far and I can't afford too much chocolate before dinner.

I am thinking about giving jogging a try when the weather is more cooperative. I came across someone selling their p90x dvds over the weekend. I am not sure p90x is for me so I don't think I will make the investment at this time. I better see how the jogging goes first.

Alright, Rach, I will be watching for your encouraging words now that you are back:wink:

Im glad Mr. watson about you re-thinking the chocolate but if I had enough calories I can't say that I could resist the temptation. I just went and jogged for 2 miles. I can also say that I won't be doing 3 for a realy LONG time. I will be sitting around for a while because um my legs are weak.

I'm in need of help for figuring out an exercise routine/plan. I'm getting so bored with walking on the treadmill. What are some other ideas of getting in cardio?

Hang in there hmo4! I will pray for your full and complete recovery.

Hey chickadee10, here are some of the things that I do to squeeze the cardio in to my day:
    jumping jacks
jump rope (with or without the rope)
    jog in place
    dancing
go for a walk (outdoors or at the mall)
stair climbing (I recommend a building with a stair well...mall security does not approve of fast pace stair climbing.)
workout videos (For variety, I check out videos from the library.)
I also use our PS2 to play Kinetic or Dance, Dance Revolution. We just bought a band kit for Guitar Hero and I see that playing the drums might also give me a cardio workout.

I can squeeze the first three listed in during tv commercials and while microwaving.

When I'm picking up around the house or whatever I like to bust a move here and there. Or see what new I can do. One day I found out that I can go up on one leg and kick my other leg while hoping around in a circle. I know sounds stupid however it got me out of breath. I go up and down stairs a lot because that is where my bathroom is at. Tomorrow I think Im going to mop my kitchen which if you guys knew what that thing looks like know that is goingto be a workout but I might just put on some music and get down with my bad self again. What the heck. Its just me at home.
