Hello beautiful blues. :flowerforyou:
So, for some reason, I can't read the second page of our topic. My work computer isn't cooperating. But... I'll check it out after work. Even if I'm not leaving anything here, I'm always reading to keep up with everybody!!
I'm not quite sure what's going on inside my boyfriend's head, but apparently it's okay to flirt with girls on MySpace and pay $28/month for a dirty dating site. I'm seriously thinking of ending it. And, if I do, I want my own house. I've been looking at them today a bit online. I checked one out on my lunch break. Just the outside of it. It's really cute, but peeking through the windows it looked like it needs a lot of work. Plus, it's on the side of a big hill and the driveway isn't the best.
It was only $67,000, though and is a foreclosure.
I really don't know what I'm doing or if I'm doing the right thing, lol.0 -
you don't deserve that crap-i wouldn't trust him, plus it's supposed to be about YOU! get a nice little place to make your own...guys really aren't worth losing your self worth and esteem over.:flowerforyou: we're here for ya.
hey j, we're coming out may 8-10th. staying at the settle inn. is it nice? my husband knows how to cheer me up-shopping!:bigsmile:0 -

Do what makes YOU happy, as hard as that is. I had a pretty rough weekend with my guy and was on the verge of moving out. I know how hard it is to make that decision though, when you live with someone for so long and everything you have is shared. The house thing seems like a good idea. Nothing says that if the two of you want to work things out, that you couldn't...you just would have your own space, away from all the other people you guys took in as well! :drinker: I hope everything works out in the best way possible for you! :flowerforyou:0 -
Today we just went for a nice walk I got my strength training in by holding my dog back. I used both arms so they both got the strength in. We walked a mile while the kids rode their bike. They loved it. I love this spring weather. :bigsmile:0

Thanks for the suggestions Mr watson. Would riding a bike be considered cardio?0

absolutely!, any activity that gets your hr up works your cardio system and burns cals. walking briskly, up and down stairs, skipping, jumping or dancing around. if you huff and puff and drip some sweat-it'll work!:happy:0 -
Hi Team..
I have been MIA.. on this site.. i have been working out though.. but stress etc have affected my weight loss- i have not gained but have not lost either..
If you still want me .. i'd like to get back on the list ..
oh.. btw .. i got myself a HRM which is really exciting to me, now i just want to move more and see how much i can burn ..
i'm unemployed for .. 6 weeks now.. my husbands shift got changed.. after 4-5 years having a regular routine of coming all together home at the same time, from work and kids form school having together dinner and some family time- .. now everything is changed, he is working second shift, kids and me .. home without him.. it's kind of empty, i feel lonely.. and being unemployed... i'm still in denial i thing, i'm trying to make myself believe that i enjoy the time off.. i want to enjoy it .. there's nothing i can do about the situation, while i was in the hospital for meningitis and pneumonia- i got laid off.. it's not my fault !
Ok .. now you guys know why i have been missing here, .. i'm just trying to adjust to all these changes.. i have not stopped exercising, that is somehow the only thing i have left " as a routine " i dont' want to loose that .. my schedule, my routine, my .. organization.. everything is gone.. i have to somehow build new rutines ,new schedules, new.. everything.. somehow i'm lost and overwhelmed with all this changes0 -

Just send your weight in today and I'll put you back on. :flowerforyou:0 -
Weigh-in day!!! Let's see those numbers! Any old team members that may still be lurking: Just send me your current weight and I'll put you right back on the team.
When this challenge ends (whenever that may be) would you guys like to recruit new members and set new goals? I love the accountability here and sure could use the support. BL must be ending soon right? :flowerforyou:0 -
Rach- I would love to keep this going. I was wondering what was going to happen to all of us when the BL ended. I love having this as a vent and to see what all my friends are doing. Maybe keep up with weighing in and posting it for just us to know however WE are doing. :flowerforyou:0

Exactly! I think we have a great group here!0 -
I was planning on starting P90x again, the beginning of next week, but I was just thinking...why wait until next week? Why not tonight? Plus that'll make my off-day land on Tuesday which is also the last day of my school week, meaning the day I spend all my time cramming to finish my homework before midnight. I'm really getting back to it! :bigsmile:0

way to go j!and it'll be more and more loss the way you've picked up your cardio-great job!-just be careful...we have a date in a few weeks!
rach- way to go-start slower if you haven't done p90x for a while, you might get discouraged. seriously, i feel like i'll be starting from a much lower level. and that'll be ok, cause it'll come back quickly. i doubt i can do plyo now, and had no probs doing it before. sprints will take a bit of time to get back into too. BUT I WILL NOT GET DISCOURAGED AND UNMOTIVATED. that's what i've been telling myself any way! i'm giving myself 1 more week or so to chill and heal and then i'm movin'! can you tell i had a better day? trying to be positive-and spring is here! the snow is almost all gone-yay! i'm hoping to buy a couple bikes this summer too, to ride with my husband. WITH!, although he'd like the other!-sorry, i'm being nasty. go blue!0 -
