    Caliecat (Momma) - woohooo! congrats on your loss! I know the first two weeks on South Beach is tough..particulary for those like you who :heart: your bread and fruit. But the results are worth two weeks.
    I lost another pound this morning so that is great! Still have just over 5 lbs to lose in 21 days...not sure that will happen but I am going to try!

    Hey yes it is. And you are almost at 30 lbs. great for you. It would have been 30 lbs if you didn't have that Coconut cake at Easter.

    Hey guys-

    What week are we on again? I forget, but there's 13 more days, wow! Time has flown. Today I had a loss of .6lbs. I am happy with it. If I get tough, I could lose another 3 pounds I think. That would be awesome, but I plan on keeping it at another 2. That would put me at 3-8 lbs away from my original goal. I'm not complaining. Since we started this journey together I have lost 18 lbs! and two more lbs and it will be a solid 20 lb loss. You guys are awesome. Congrats on your weight loss. Gemfrire I think you can reach 5lbs in 21 days. That's about 2lbs a week.

    Oh by the way I wanted to tell you my two favorite things right now. 1. Kens Steakhouse Ginger Sesame Soy Lite Dressing, delicious, and Fiber One pancakes (maybe when you're further along in your South Beach diet Caliecat), they have 6 grams of fiber per serving and they're super good.

    I have already tried the fibor on pancakes. Used it all up and Have not replace it yet. they ar good . make wonderful waffles too.
    congrats on the 18 lbs. lost. that is amazing. How good you must feel.

    Alice has done well too. I think I have too. I have such a hard time losing. But slowly it is coming offf.

    I think we are on week 12 or 13...lost count too! But it does not matter...we are still here and all doing great!
    I will have to find that Ken's salad dressing...I have been using the Ken's Honey Mustard Spritzer dressing...it is good. Now if they could just find a way to make Blue Cheese spray salad dressing!
    We went out to dinner tonight with sister inlaws and I did really good...we went to a local Italian restaraunt that has the best garlic bread and I didnt have a single piece! I ordered Tilapia with sauteed spinach...but was surpised when they brought it out and it had shrimp on top in the sauce! ICK! I picked them off and gave them to my hubby. Skipped dessert and totally satisfied with a nice cup of coffee. If I can make it through an italian meal without eating pasta and garlic bread...I know I have come a long way!

    Mmmm...I love Italian. I gotta talk my boyfriend into taking me out for Italian. You are doing so great Gemfrire, you're right, it's all about the choices we make. I am hell bent on not gaining my weight back. I'm loving the way I look and don't want to go back to the old me (the human yo yo). Well seems like your weekends are off to a great start.

    I had a 2 lb lost makes 15 lbs. since Dec '8 that makes me happy

    Good evening...sorry I am late in checking in. Long day at work as usual.

    I was down only .8 today. A loss however is a loss. Only a few days left to the 15th and I think we have all done very well. Each of us should be proud of what we have done! I know I am! Now if I can just not blow it while on that ship!

    I am particularly proud of my mom...Caliecat. She never gives up, encourages so many on this site and others and constantly seeks to learn more from other members. If i need a recipe...I know where to go! Her health sometimes slows her down but not for long. Never give up Momma...I love you! :flowerforyou:

    Sorry I have not check in lately but I am having a tough time. I am stuck on a plateau and it if soooooooo frusttrating. I am not going to reach my goal by friday of being 160. I have been stuck at 170 for over a month and can not lose. I have upped my workouts but I am still struggling with food choices. I just don't know what to do anymore :cry:

    Are you logging all your food? or is it that you keep choosing the foods that are preventing you from reaching your goals?

    I am not making the best choices to lose weight. I need to break my morning cycle of stopping to get a biscuit and start making healthy meals at home.

    hey guys, well i was up .4 this weekend. I blame most of it on the fact that I had two heavy meals on Friday before weigh-in. I was starving on Friday and ended up getting 5 rolled tacos, because I was desperate to eat anything. that was a really bad choice. Then at dinner I had teriyaki chicken bowl, b/c i promised my roommate I would go out to eat with her. argh! but you know what. I am determined to lose 1 lb. this week. So is this Saturday our final weigh-in?

    Well here it is th last weigh in for our little group...hope you are pleased with your results. I am even though I am about 5 lbs short of where i hoped to be. But I know that i have done well and the fact that I bought all my new clothes in the Misses department today instead of the Plus sizes is so totally exciting! I found the cutest outfit that really makes me look slimmer! I cannot wait to wear it on the cruise.
    So for the last time...here is where I ended up. Today I was down .6 which brings me down to 204. Like I said...about 5 lbs above the 199 that i hoped to reach by today. But I will get there!
    Hope to hear from the rest of our little group...

    Hey proud of you. I gain so I am down on me this week. but sstill looking forward to lose some more after all this hospital business is over with. So Have a good time on your trip. So happy you are in the Missy size. And at least I am back down to xl instead of 2 xl I am grateful for that.

    Hey Gemfrire and Caliecat-

    This is it for us, but not the end of our weight loss. Wow everyone has done so great. Goals are so important, and we all came pretty dang close.

    I weighed in at 119. Just 4 lbs. shy of my original goal, with a weight loss grand total of 19 lbs., one more lb and I will be able to say I have lost 20 lbs.

    Gemfrire hope you have a blast in Alaska, I actually leave for Thailand in just a few days. Caliecat, you're great and congrats on getting out of the 2xl.

    We leave on Thursday for Alaska. I will share pics when we return.

    Caliecat (Momma) - I know you were disappointed this week but it is all accountable to your stressful week. It will come off so dont give up! When I return...you will be through with your surgery and we will both start fresh...and together we will reach our goals! One day at a time...
