I've done a lot of naked (no weights) or low weight (30-50 lbs) squats (like 100's in a day and thousands in a week's time when I boxed 4 days a week) and none of that made any difference whatsoever. Probably genetics. But I just started lifting heavy recently (6 weeks ago now) and my husband teasingly smacked by booty this morning - stopped cold and he was like "Whoa! Where did that come from?" And I keep measurements, no change in the waist so far!0

I have a pretty decent *kitten* and a small waist.
I contribute that to squats, lunges and leg presses.
I also think genetics plays a part because I have always had a big booty and a little waist.. and now it's just more shapely.0 -
brazilian butt augmentation? i wouldn't suggest it though...lol i think it's best to just play the hand you're dealt.0
