I'm just curious if any of you do anything else besides counting calories/exercise to lose weight. I need all the tips I can get! Not interested in supplements though. Thanks!

What works for me is thinking of it simply.
Eat Less
Move More0 -
Sew your mouth shut.0
-
I'm trying to reach for veggies & fruit more0
-
Find something you love to do that is physical! Walk, shop, swim, go to the beach, canoe, hike, and my favorite...have lots of great sex! That works too!:blushing:0
-
I try to eat a high fiber, high protein diet most days.0
-
Great idea Brandie. I can def. improve on both the protein and fiber. Thanks!0

Sew your mouth shut.
lmao i just cracked up at that. i need to do this one for sure!0 -
Stick with it! Everyday wont be perfect thats for sure... but just keep going.0

My top tip: Set your macros right. Hit them daily :]
1g of pro per lb of lean body mass
.35x body weight for g of fat
rest in whatever(more of the above or carbs)0 -
Don't skip breakfast!0
-
lots of water and green tea! I also 2nd the high fiber/high protein.0
-
Not to be repetitive, but high protein/high fiber. In addition to that, I weigh & measure everything! Portions sizes can be deceiving.0
-
water, no fast food (still working on that one) and moving more0
-
Don't skip breakfast!
Second tip: Do what works for you. Don't make changes that are just going to make things more difficult.
Skip breakfast if you want, eat 2 giant meals or 10 tiny ones. Doesn't matter as long as you are comfortable with it and it is easiest for you to stick with!0 -
i take things one day at a time. I love the sew your mouth shut...if only I could do that....0

I don't diet. I eat healthy. I don't go to the gym. I go to the health club. When it doubt, walk it out.0
-
80% of what you eat, 20% exercise ...0
-
lots of water
no fast food
walking
portion control0 -
Might as well do 3 tips xD
Strength train. This will NOT bulk you up. It will result in a more favorable body composition at your goal weight as well as other health benefits. Lift heavy - not 5lb weights with endless reps!0 -
drink a glass of water before your meal and then one after. If you can't finish the second glass you've eaten too much!0
-
Run. Run like someone lit a fire under your *kitten*.0

wow! now i know why i cant get help losing weight! proven fact that kissing and sex burns calories-(ive been single 6 yrs!)0 -
eat less-move more0

MINIMUM 30 mins high intensity DAILY. If it's only 30 mins you have no excuse not to do it....that's how I did it!
And drink water0 -
Weigh/measure everything and track EVERYTHING, even bites, and don't track it until you're eating it (not at the beginning of the day).0
-
Make it fun!0
-
Don't go for tooo long without food though, just in case you become weak, or so hungry that you eat everything in sight. Sometimes I get weak before I feel hungry, so I need to eat something small regularly to prevent this. Hunger reminds people to eat, but not with me0

I only worry about today. The only time I think ahead is when I grocery shop.
And don't allow junk food in the house!0 -
