I love Zumba! I have both the Zumba and Zumba2 for the Wii..I am not sure how they compare to the Xbox 360 with the kinect...but I am hooked! I learned alot of the steps at home with the game. Then joined a gym and started taking different classes and Zumba is by far my favorite. At my gym they have Zumba Gold for 40+, Aqua Zumba (not as impressed with this one) and then regular Zumba. I like my instructor...who shows modifications to help those who have health or joint issues. And there are all ages...so cool! I have tried some more intense classes and I came out hurting and NO FUN! So Zumba is my class of choice...never thought working out would be such fun!!
  • I dont have an xbox....but I just ordered wii zumba fitness and i cant wait til i t gets here!

I have tried a Zumba class before and didnt enjoy it, too busy for my liking and to fast for beginners i felt i have the xbox with kinect and have currently been doing just dance and my shape which i love too. I heard about the Zumba rush game and thought i would give a go well Im in love with this game i brought it monday evening and have used it every night for the short classes to ease my way into the game i find myself waking up in the morning looking forward to my workout that day im going to continue with the short class for this week then up to the next one but i love it and highly recommend it :-)

You caught the fever!! Isn't it fun? I have never taken a live class, but I could imagine after doing Zumba Rush fo a while, it's got to be easier to catch on. I really thought I wouldn't like the swing songs, but I've found that even those routines are a lot of fun!
  • I just bought Zumba Rush tonight and I love it so far! It's a great buy for sure and I can't wait to see some results with it! :)
  • I don't have the zumba xbox, but I do go to a gym that has Zumba classes and I love them. It's a solid hour of fun but burning calories in a fun way. I go twice a week and wouldn't give it up for anything. Love, Love, Love it. Zumba is great!!!
  • I am so buying the Xbox version!! Thanks for the review. I was wondering if it would be just awesome.

I bought it, and i love it. My mom even joined in while she was over visiting. My husband was having a blast too. It is a lot of fun, but man I found out I have no coordination or endurance for that matter. I created a custom class with low intensity for now. I tried a high intensity one and I about died. LOL! I too look forward to it, which is totally weird for me.

Zumba Rush for Kinect is excellent for cardio. I used the 20 min interval 5x a week and on each session, I burn between 300-400 calories. If I increase the time of the workout, I can easily burn more than 500 calories in one day. You sweat, you have fun, and you barely know that you are workingout. That's how much fun it is!
  • Ok. I see everyone saying their calorie count is low... But I've been doing Medium length classes medium/high intensity and it says 1000 calories on my counter. Am I missing something? Maybe the counter changed since the last update?

Just bought it...I have zero coordination, but surprisingly, it kept and held my heart rate up the whole time. The calorie count is way off on the game, but my hrm said 200 cals in 35 minutes. Not bad at all.

I love it! I have it for the Kinect, its tons of fun and a great workout. I brought it to my Zumba instructor to borrow today, she might steal some routines for our class. I wear my HRM during the game, and the calorie count was wayyyy different. I think it said I burned about 900 calories in 50 minutes but it was actually a little over 400. I'm fine with that!

I have Zumba Rush XBox Kinnect and love it...love the in person classes at my gym a tad better but only because of the camadarie (I work at home so it's nice to talk to adults outside the home!) but I sweat my butt off with the Zumba Rush!

It works well for me because I get bored easily...this you can change the songs, length of the class, etc. I try to do 4-5 classes (mid-length) a week on Zumba Rush when I can't get to the gym...

Make sure to get Zumba Rush, I had the 1st Zumba and it sucked so bad that I returned it the same week! But Zumba Rush is a ton of fun and no you don't need a ton of play space. I'm in a 1 bedroom apt with a sectional in the living room, so I don't exactly have a spacious great room lol

abolutely...whether its on the xbox or its in a class..zumba is fun for everyone. the whole point is to move with the music it doesn't matter if you are coordinated. I have been doing zumba for a month now...3 times a week (in a gym) and each week i get better and better at the moves...

when i leave the class i could wring a bucket of water out of my shirt.

I also have zumba on the xbox...it is great too..but i LOVE the social interaction at my gym...we laugh almost all the way thru the class...makes me excited to get out and get moving. JMO

I am a stay at home mother, and while I have a gym membership (which is currently "paused" because I gave birth to my son in March), I am looking for more opportunities to work out at home. I do NOT have a babysitter, and my husband works a lot.

I have been considering buying Zumba Rush and I am glad there are more ladies here on MFP that use it.

I have both Zumba games on the Xbox kinect and I must say Zumba Rush is far better, better songs, more sweat and I have found I dont actually want to stop dancing! The calories seem quite high, for example today I did 45mins (with a lot of effort mind) and burnt 904 calories...I want to believe this but have decided to get a heart rate monitor to see if it is in fact true. Even if the calories arnt true I still feel like I have done an amazing hardcore workout and my abs get a beating as well as my whole body!

I tend to have sweat running down my legs which of course is awesome!
