Great ideas! Thanks everyone! Anyone know things that are safe to do with a bum knee? I hurt it the other day while trying a cardio DVD and now it is driving me crazy! I am going to get the doctor to x-ray it soon as I am really concerned about it (it pops, crunches, and make weird noises).
Honestly... I would really rest it. If the doc says it's okay - swimming, water walking, water aerobics, cycling (generally), and pilates are all good options. But for now, rest it and get it checked out. You really don't want to further mess up a knee (or any joint for that matter). If you're going nuts and HAVE to exercise - maybe sit in a chair or on lay a bench and do some upper body stuff if you have dumbells or soup cans. Shoulder press, bicep curls, tricep extensions, chest press, etc. But don't stress that knee!
Hope you feel better soon!0
