    For all practical purposes it makes no difference, other than as a matter of personal preference. All the talk of "using up glycogen so that you burn more fat" is just nonsense.

    If you want to put most of your energy into lifting, then lift first. If you want to concentrate on cardio, do that first.

    Minus the part where metabolic pathways play a role in making either lifting or cardio more efficient through proper stimulation of mitochondria or ribosomes.
