Nice ideas...but...I get up at 6 or 630am (NOT a morning person)..and by the time I get a shower, take my sister to school, get the kids up (THREE kids) and get them breakfast, get them dressed and teeth brushed (with is usually a fight in itself) then get them out the door by 7:55a, I have to finish my make-up and hair and leave at 8:15a. (which usually turns into 8:25 and then the fourth child wakes and doesnt want me to leave) Im just about late (work at 8:30). No time for food and I work at a doc office...no food at my desk. BLAH! I dont get lunch til 12:15-12:30p. HELP! How do I get myself the fuel I need and find the time? (without stinkin' protein shakes..eww)

Something quick on the go? See above. Piece of fruit, some nuts, toast and peanut butter.. Gotta do something. How about packing a breakfast for the road the night before?

Quaker Original Oats- 3 minutes in the microwave on 80%.  Add a tbsp of natural peanut butter or a handful of nuts and this will keep you going for 3-4 hours!!! Very quick and easy. You can eat it as you get the kid stuff done!!!

But in the worst case, have a high-quality protein bar in the car on the way to work. But as Dave pointed out, stay away from the junky ones- read your labels.

nutrigrain toaster waffles... some carbs, some protein, easy in a toaster to put it down while you're doing something else.. can add some peanut butter on top...

whole wheat toast with peanut butter is my favorite, as I go to the gym in the mornings and it gives me the energy I need...

just don't skip breakfast! grab a protein bar and a banana and a yogurt drink!

You could always wake up earlier and have a little more"me time" and have your breakfast before you take your shower and take your sis to school.

    Just a thought.

or prepare something the night before. Slice up some fruit, make your protein shake, do whatever.

Just drink milk or soymilk instead of those sugary shakes.
