Ok...I see you suggest patience. That's good. But then I notice you have link for "Rapid Weight Loss". Stating that a couple of clients lost 20-25 lbs in 3-4 days? WHAT? And that's healthy? ok
Whats your point? A big person can lose a ton of weight in days. Preparing for a contest one might lose 10lbs in a day. If you are doing this, or needing rapid weight loss, you're in a SPECIALIZATION. Like contest prep, mma, boxing, law enforcement, marathon, etc. It's no longer a general person trying to lose weight generally. And all specializations come with more work and higher risk factors. Rapid weight loss is temporary and many people try to do this for insurance/bmi purposes. Instead of doing it a myriad of rather suspect ways, A professional level of advice would be the better option. I tell any rapid weight loss client that of course this is temporary, not long term, and there are risks. Some people want it, some don't. As one of my mottos goes, "there's more than one way to skin a cat, some are just safer and more efficient than others"

scales can also vary with temperature, body temperature, humidity, the Earth, you name it. As I say in my article about the 3P's of success, which I actually started on here last night as a reply to someone....I recommend you weigh yourself multiple times a day so you can hurry up and get over the scale fascination. I don't know your protocol, but many people want to see how many calories they can burn while undereating to lose weight as fast as possible, which can result in more inflammation, thus more water retention. Plus if you're a female you guys can hold water of course around your cycle, or for just about any reason at all. Part of being burdened with directly populating the planet.

Agree and yes - glad this was clarified. All my boxing / UFC esque friends have to drop a lot of weight before competition, just the same as i have to carbo load just before a marathon or triathlon. It's temporary and if you are going to do this but have no experience or understanding if what you need to do and what it entails then professional advice is needed.

I am in total agreement with the majority of these responses. I say relax and dont stress out. That stress alone will prevent you from losing weight. I think you have done an awesome job and have already been successful in your journey to reach your goals. Regardless of what happens tomorrow; go and get those new shoes! The shoes alone will motivate you to continue on and you will reach whatever goals (future ones) you set for yourself.

I seem to add 2 pounds before losing them and another a day or two after. It's only happened twice, so I can't call it a pattern yet... But as long as I am losing inches, I make myself laugh at my scale obsession...
