I have had two root canals, the first was very uncomfortable and still has light pain to this day, so since then ive switched dentists and I have had a much better experience, I think the biggest thing is finding a skilled dentist that can perform the root canal, at least in my situation, the second time I actually went to an emergency dentist in San Diego (On Demand Dentist) and they were much more up front and made me feel more comfortable, not to mention I feel like the root canal procedure went much better as I dont have prolonged pain like I do from the first visit, but I would make sure wherever you go to do it, make sure its a dentist you trust and are confident in as it can be a life long this like it is for me if it isnt done correctly. If your in San Diego I would check them out www.OnDemandDentist.com0
