Gaining instead of losing!!

edited November 2024 in Health and Weight Loss
I have been working out 5-6 times a week, doing strength training classes, yoga, kettle bell classes, spin classes, running on the treadmill, you name it, I ve been doing it since late November. I've changed my eating habits, and I am tracking what I eat...yet I'm not seeing ANY progress and gaining a few pounds.
I dont know what I am doing wrong. I understand I don't have a lot to lose, but I have a trip coming up May 1st, and I wanted to look MUCH better than what I am right now.
Can anyone suggest anything to help me see results??

have you taken your measurements? You may be building muscle.

I'm eating enough for sure. I know I'm not drinking enough water.
I have been taking my measurements every 2 weeks and nothing.
If anything I've lost .5 inches in my waist, but I thought I'd be down MORE than that!!!
I'm so frustrated and discouraged, I'm starting to think I will never get the body by working for it.
  • Many years ago, I was on WW. I was drinking 8 glasses of water faithfully, every day. A friend who started WW about a month before I did, only drank couple of diet sodas per day. I surpassed her weight loss in 3 weeks. Give it a try.
