How do you get your protein?

Options
Hi,

I'm trying to get about 30% of my calories from protein. It's not working out that well. I'm wondering how other people fit protein into their diet. I don't like yogurt, or smoothie like things. I also didn't want to use a protein powder. Currently now get a lot of my protein from meat. How many oz of meat do you eat?

For Protein I like cottage cheese, eggs, and Kashi's go lean cereal which has 13 grams of protein and a good amount of fiber too.

i do a lot of eggs, sometimes three a day.. at least 3-4 oz of meat (chicken, beef, pork, shrimp/fish, turkey) with dinner, up to 8 if i made enough. cottage cheese, peanut butter, canned tuna for lunch a lot...
but i also do greek yogurt and protein powder - i dont think i could get as high as i do with out the powder..and i usually dont hit 40% anyway.

Chicken, fish, beans (black mostly), whey protein powder, almonds, sunflower kernels, and peanut butter. But i'd love to see other responses! I also like to eat mostly protein. I actually use my MFP goal as a minimum and get irritated if i'm not able to go in the red that day. And i'm getting sick of eating nuts (i've never really been a fan), and fish (never been a huge fan of that either.)

Whey protein shakes, GNC Lean to Go shakes, protein shots, chicken and seafood.

Doc has me on 100 grams a day.

Some light string cheeses for snacks.

Ahi tuna is a good source. Cook it like you would a steak.

ounce for ounce, it's higher in protein than sirloin, and lower in fat.

12 oz Ahi tuna steak provides:
    360 Cal
    80 g protein
    130 mg sodium
    150 mg cholesterol
    3 g fat/0g saturated fat
    40 mg calcium.

    AND it tastes YUMMY!!!!

chicken, ground turkey, fish, beans, tofu, cheese, eggs, soy/almond milk. the list goes on.

i personally dont eat red meat but pork tender loin and lean ground beef is great as well.

protein shakes are great as well. I prefer whey.

    I'm a vegetarian but I eat fish.
Without meat, fish is the main staple source of protein in my diet, apart from dairy products but I don't eat a lot of them, anyway.
I think I lack protein most of the time.
