What are you going to reward yourself with?

When you reach your GW, what is your reward to yourself going to be?

Apart from a huge sense of satisfaction, I want to get a tattoo up my thigh. Definitely not a nice place for one now but at the end of this journey... it'll be excellent :D

I think if I make it to my goal weight I would like to treat myself to a vacation! Some where tropical so I can take my shirt off and walk around the beach feeling confident and sexy! That would be the best feeling in the world and I would feel like I have really accomplished something

I'm a bit strange, but my reward is knowing I did it and am healthier than I was before.

M goal is not so much a weight, but a number of days - I want to do 300 days without alcohol. And my reward is going to be a massive 750ml bottle of Belgian beer.

A friend makes jewelry so we are going to make a bracelet for me. Someone mentioned once on a similar post about getting some professional photos and I think that I might do that as well. I love ModCloth so I think I'm going to get a dress off there and go have some professional photos taken. Hell I might even add the boy in and make them "late" engagement/early wedding photos!

Half Marathon training... I have to lose 40 lbs before I will allow myself to subject my body to that kind of abuse again. I did 6 half marathons last year, all of them weighing over 200 lbs. I refuse to subject my body to that again - not the running, but the heaviness while running. :)

But I like the idea of Aerial Arts!! And have also thought about having some scandid pictures taken.

when I first started losing weight, I rewarded myself with small non-food items along the way - new haircuts, a dress, shoes & a fancy purse. the purse took forever to save $$ for, so was my 50 lbs lost goal item. When I hit 65, I got a few new tattoos (I have 10) including a large one on my right thigh. My new reward when I lose the last 20-25 lbs will be a shiny new dress!

I am going to have a family photo shoot. This year we have had a family one in Mum's back garden and the same photgrapher took pictures at Mum's 60th later in the year. I would like to get him to do a new set of pictures. To be fair, despite the fact I had not lost weight at this point, the photos were beautiful and given that I aim to get to goal weight around my birthday next year, I think it'll be a nice way to celebrate and get updated pics of everyone all at the same time!

When I reach my halfway point I plan on "rewarding" myself with a great road bike as I want to ride in events that my current bike is not quite up to snuff.

I really don't have a reward planned but I'm hoping to reach my goal, if not some of it, by the time I leave for my Hawaiian Vacation in September :drinker:
  • To me, the weight loss ipso facto is the reward. There are things that I'd only ever do if I weighed less, though, such as getting a tattoo, that I plan on doing. Something subtle - I'm considering a quote from my favourite poem in a small monospace font on my back, to the side of my spine. Also, a serious wardrobe upgrade.
