I have a Canon Rebel EOS, which I love! I do mostly children's portraits, getting ready to do some maternity pics, too. I've been at it since my daughter was a baby, about 4 years, but I just recently started into the realm of professional, about 6 or 7 months. My FB page is: www.facebook.com/christiansenphoto

I don't do concert photography so cannot give much feed back on your work.. Will say that a 85mm 2.0 will do wonders for your work since you work with such low light.. I mostly shoot children and family but also a little bit of everything.. Here is just a sample of my work..

What kind of camera do you shoot with? Canon Eos Digital Rebel - old, but comfortable. :)
What is your speciality? - Senior pictures, mostly, but I'm attempting to branch out a bit.
How long have you been doing it for? - Officially since October, but I've always been the one called on for friends, family, and their friends before.

I feel so out of place (except for Retina Photography)... I run with an old Pentax K10d, budgeted for an upgrade in May (still Pentax though).

    Canon 30D
    Scenery and portrait
I have been doing it for as long as I could point and shoot on an old Kodak 110.

    hey!
I'll be graduating from ohio state this fall for photography!
i've been doing it all my life, since I've gone to school i've become really interested in fashion photography.
I have a canon rebel t3i (would love to upgrade but i've invested too much in lenses and other stuff at this point)

I have a couple of friends/classmates that do concert photos-I think they're AMAZING!
I have a lot of appreciation for people that do that kind of photography, I've never tried it, but i'm sure it requires a lot of skill to capture in those low light/action settings.

I USED to have a Nikon D80 and D40, but they both got STOLEN in 2010.. Due to a few circumstances, I haven't been able to afford to buy a new one. I plan on getting back into it once I can.

I was still in an experimental phase, mostly with surrealist and abstract B&W work. I was mostly using an old school film camera (I don't remember the exact models, but I was using a Pentax and Minota that a friend owned.

I have about 5 years of active experience.

    Add me =D

And also a few questions to help me get to know you..

What kind of camera do you shoot with?
    What is your speciality?
How long have you been doing it for?

I'm brand new to it.. I bought a Canon 1100D about a month ago and I've been having a go at a bit of everything.. My favourite I think is live concert photography.

    Hi...

I shoot with a Canon EOS system, 1x 1dsmkIII body, 1 x 1dmkIV body, 1x5dmkIII body and a ton of primes. I specialise in travel photography and do the odd wedding here and there and sports. Just sold my first photo to TIME that I took last month in India and a few of Niagara falls when it was frozen.

I have taken my photography as a serious hobby for just over 2 years and do some paid work. I'd be happy to friend you :-)

Photography is one of many hobbies I have managed to accumulate.

I'm old school, however, and haven't entered the digital era. Not many of my really good shots are in digital format, so I'll have to see if I can find some.

Been enjoying photography since about 1968/69

Started off with a Kodak Bantam, and got to use Dad's Canon FX when I was in High School.

Got my own Canon in 1982, a Canon AE1 (not to be confused with the AE1P). Still have it and still use it as my primary.

    I have a 50mm 1.8, 28mm 2.5, 85-205 3.8, 35-200 3.5-5.6, and a doubler for the Canon

    My backup is a Nikon N55 with Nikkor 28-80 3.3-5.6 and 70-300 4.5-5.6 lenses.

Both have their virtues, the Canon having much better optics, but the Nikon being more technologically advanced , which gives me 35mm quality with the simplicity of a point-and-shoot camera.

I shoot scenery and people, mainly, but I'm not really big on portraits.

Maybe some day I'll get a nice Canon digital camera, but I'll keep my 35mm cameras as long as they make and develop film.

I have lots of cameras - my digital is super old though nikon d50 which i got back when i was 16... i get to use super like 3 grand expensive ones at uni but i much prefer 35mm or medium format. My subject isnt completely relevant, i prefer the ideas of mediation of reality which is a concern throughout my artistic practice (see my website www.katday.co.uk) its not finished but there are some digital and film photos on there.

Yeah....well wouldn't call myself a photographer, but I take pictures.

    I've got a Canon 60D with stock 18-55mm, Sigma 10-20mm, Hanimex 28mm, Canon nifty fifty and a Sigma 55-200mm.

Recently got shortlisted for a competition with Bank of Scotland that means my photo will be displayed in one of their branches somewhere in Scotland on the back wall with my name and location on it, so pretty happy about that.

Some of my photos are on here
