For this price I can take a guest every time I work out and it can be the same guest each time. Makes it nice for my wife and I to work out together for the price of 1 membership.0 -
I was smart enough to realize I was wasting our money since I never went and had a better chance of working out at home, so I cancelled my membership. My husband, however, won't let it go (even though he never goes, he *swears* he'll get back to it soon. I call bullsh*t).

I LOVE it. Especially the Cardio Cinema where they play a different movie on a theatre-sized screen all-day, every day in a room full of equipment. Plus the classes. And the awesome trainers. I get bored easily so having so much stuff to choose from reallllly helps me stick with it. Plus I like getting out of the house and being around other people.
But some days I stay home and pop in a workout DVD, and that's good too ;P0 -

£26 a month, which I think is about $41? It includes all the facilities, so it's damn good value.
Initially you had to be signed up for a minimum 3 months, but after that you can stay as long as you like. I will be changing to a student peak membership when I start my postgrad course (currently on off-peak, as I only work part time) for the same price, but I can go whenever I want!
My local gym is Ponds Forge, but my membership is with Fitness Unlimited, which means any gym that uses Fitness Unlimited, I can go in and use.0 -
